For those who ordered from “SOFIRNLIGHT.COM”: did the status of your order changed to “shipped” (or something similar)?
Mine still shows “awaiting shipment”. I contacted Barry and Sofirn via PM and didn’t get any replies…
I know this week they are on holiday, but mine was ordered on the 14th and didn’t move since then…I’m starting to get upset
Just wanted to let people know that Sofirn and Barry have replied to me meanwhile, concerning my order.
They are expecting drivers and updating firmware, so that is what caused delay.
Sofirn mentioned the end of the month to eventually have them.
I will wait for them to become available, as will not cancel my order. I just wanted to know what would be the reason, and now I know
Got my shipping notification today! Another wait begins

I did a quick search and didn’t see where they are offering discount code I am interested in 2-3 I wish they would have done it with type c charging port
What are the possibilities of getting Sofirn to put the same lighted switch from SC21 Pro into the SP10 Pro. The ability to have and control a switch light is a great feature.
That would be really nice. Actually a different switch setup altogether, but if space isn’t an insurmountable concern then adding the light would be great and bring it in line with most other Anduril lights. I don’t know if it was a practical consideration or just trying to keep the price of the light at a certain point. Just a few small improvements/fixes would make this a real standout light among many competitors even if the cost went up a few bucks.
Other than no history and my doc has seen this happer with a few severe cases of the original rona. That is about it. Please get your eyes checked by an opthomologist, not optometrist. Nothing close or magnified is sharp anymore for me. Really sucks! BTW, forgot to answer... I am 57 this fall.

Machining slots for tritium vials on either side of button would be a good feature. Making the tube reversible or adding a second clip grove near head would allow clip to be reversed. Neither or both should add much to production costs.

When you are in Sofirn website, you have a banner on top (if you are a new user) indicating a 10% discount and the code.
If you select other items (drivers, flashlights), you have a smaller banner in the product page offering a XX% discount. Click on “GET” and you’ll get it on the final value.
Just installed a de-domed 519A sm573 in my SP10 Pro.
…
It came out rosier than I really expected
Ive seen reports of VERY Pink sm573 dedomes, like -0.0080, even -0.0100. My experience with one sm573 dedome, is a duv of -0.0042.
What is the DUV of your dedomed sm573?
anyone else that has a dedomed sm573, and an Opple or other meter, Please share info. Please no Bare LED data.. Im only asking for data in a light with its lens installed.
I initially swapped the LED to an SST20 2700k. After a while my eyes told me the DUV was too high and I tried a 219b 3k. Turbo makes it go angry blue so I switched back to the SST20. I guess I need to try a 519a.
Anyone else interested in tritium slots in the Sp10 Pro and other Sofirn lights? It appears there would be room on either side of the button. It could become a default design for Sofirn.
It’s really nice having Anduril in a driver for this type of light.
Having it able to run 14500 and AA is nice … but not crucial for how I use my lights.
The low max output is irritating. Just 3 amps? I can really see the difference when I compare it side-by-side with an FWAA, especially after modding my SP10 Pro to use an FWAA optic, star and the same emitters.
If I had to choose, I’d rather have higher max output over 1.5v support.
I would definitely have preferred a bit higher max output, for hot-rod fun. I wonder if it’s possible to modify the driver to get more amps?

That’s a good question. Perhaps someone more versed in electronics than me can check if there is a sense resistor. And if so, what to replace it with for more power.
Not much you can do for NiMH, it’s already maxed out.
The FET channel will run at direct drive AFAIK. You could try using thicker cables to the MCPCB and bypassing the tail spring. Next limiting factor will be the FET.
Has anyone else dropped there sp10pro a little to hard?
Not yet… did it die?
Ramping wasn’t butter smooth anymore. Pretty rough actually. but i did a rest, and it a perfect light again. Accept it still needs a 5000k 519a transplant.
I’ve carried mine extensively since it’s arrival. Very happy. I prefer infinitely variable lights.
Two of my variable favorites. Time will tell if the Sofirn is as durable as the TH20.
I dont “get” the appeal of a couple of seconds of too much light and too much heat.
For me, the SP10 Pro has OUTSTANDING Low mode capability. I dont care about moments of Turbo, at all.
Plus I bought the light because it runs Anduril on AA.. I would think it a Travesty, to delete AA compatibility, just to build another LiIon HotRod.
there are plenty of lights that run on LiIon and will get too hot. The SP10 Pro is not that light.
My problem is I’m a flashaholic and I like lumens.
I have no use for AA support except as a last-resort backup in case the power fails and I run out of charged li-ion cells.
Since I pretty much only run my lights on li-ion, I find the SP10 Pro’s output to be a bit underwhelming. It’s ok with an SST-20 inside, but converted into a triple the output is too low.
I suppose the SP10 Pro would make a good gift light to muggles without li-ion chargers. Except the unmodified switch button protrudes a bit much causing accidental activations.
> I suppose the SP10 Pro would make a good gift light to muggles without li-ion chargers
yes
I ordered an SP10 Pro that I plan to gift to a neighbor, for their daughter. They like to go camping. The SP10 Pro spares me from having to ask about, or explain, Eneloop and LiIon.. until, or unless, they are interested. All battery options are open. A true Multi Fuel light.
For myself I just bought another FWAA, because I dont like side switches at all… Im FlashoLowLightHolic, so the first thing I will do is castrate the FWAA so it has a ceiling of 400 lumens or less.
I make it a habit to run my lights at sustainable outputs.. If the light steps down, I lower the ceiling. I do NOT raise the thermal limit

What the SP10 Pro does REALLY well, is to run Anduril on AA. There is NO other light that does that, afaik.
Next if someone manages to put the SP10 Pro driver into an Olight, THAT will be a Real Game Changer.

The light is really well balanced as far as heat to output. Oddly, this is 1 I will not screw with other than emitter change.

Can I put the driver into a SP10B? The driver or switch on mine died like many, would I also need another part?
totally agree, AA with Anduril is the defining feature of this light and the reason I’m getting a bunch of them.
