Review: JetBeam BC40 (Pictures Inside)

A Jetbeam BC40 was delivered to me yesterday. This is the cheapest XML-T6 thrower from Jetbeam. It comes with 2 modes, High & Low. The modes is changed by turning the head.By turning clockwise, it will go to Low Mode and vice versa. It uses 2*18650.

Even thought this is the cheapest thrower from Jetbeam, it does not mean it has lower quality. In fact, it comes with a good anodizing and coated lens. Perfect workmanship.

Now let the pictures describe the rest....

Well I have one coming from DD if they will ever get around to shipping it.  Summer is supposed to be taking care of it.  So we will see how it goes.  I decided to give them another chance since my last and first order was a bad one even though they made good on it.  We will see how it goes.

There seems to be pros and cons.

i feel, i like X8 better than BC40.

X8 looks better and can be used with 1 battery.

It's quite amazing just how good some of new torches are, when you think that not that long ago the 3D Maglite was the torch, now for $40/50 dollars you can get this.  So much better in so many ways.

I've been wanting one of these, but the price at DD has gone up, probably to £25000 or something, less discount of course, so i will wait.  They haven't even shipped my Klarus yet, which was ordered some time before we went to decimalisation in the UK!

Great torch, thanks for the review!
