Choosing the Right Driver: Headlamp

All,
It’s been a while since I’ve messed with drivers. Now there is all kinds of fun stuff available and I’d appreciate some help choosing (and any other feedback/ideas). I’ve outlined the details of my project below and am interested in any perspectives you have on how to choose the best/most appropriate driver.

Headlamp: Jetbeam HC20 (Modding should be similar to Skilhunt H03 mods)
Battery: single 18650
Driver size: 21mm
Main desired features (decreasing in importance): low voltage protection for unprotected cells, temperature regulation, reverse polarity protection (nice to have)
Interface: e-switch

Drivers currently being considered: TA 21mm Skilhunt H03 and MTN-22DDm (I would cut to 21mm)

Overall, I think either will definitely improve the interface and safety. I’d like to be able to use Narsil or Anduril (or similar), and if I understand correctly, I should be able to flash either driver. Are there other drivers I should consider? Should I do anything differently? The only difference I currently see is the MTN driver is two channel and TA is triple channel, but practically, I don’t know how this will impact me. I’m also open to any other suggestions for stuff to do while I have it apart.

Thank you all for any input you might have!
