I just got a Lumintop EDC18 and I want to replace the combined optic/lens with a Carclo 10507 and a separate lens. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a lens that will fit?
Is the bezel easy to take off? (not glued / thread locked?)
Someone here had to tell me how to do it. You need something like a rubber surface that you can push it against to hold the bezel in place while you turn. Therer did not appear to be any glue or threadlocker on mine. It was stiff, but came off without too much trouble.
As for the OP question, better make sure a Carclo will fit.
EDC18 has an optic without brand, and maybe different in size and the 3 feet.
Also, you will lose some light between the optic and the glass lens, because there is an air gap between them and the light will have to make 2 extra transitions (from optic to air gap and from air gap to lens).
Did you replace with Carclo 10507? Any pics ?? I want to do the same, but have doubts there is much difference....(saw the YT video, but ?????)
I'm sorry I don't have any photos to offer, but I do concur with with Firelight2, that the Carclo 10507 optic does fit into the MCPCB's three optic holes just fine.
However, with the Carclo's outer diameter being ~3mm less than the EDC18's stock optic, as well as ~1.5mm shorter in height, adding a separate lens will be necessary to fill that gap and make it at least water resistant.
In my case however, since I didn't have a 23mm x 1.5mm lens on hand, and I'm not concerned about it being waterproof, I just popped in a 23mm x 1.5mm GITD o-ring I had available and placed it over the outer edge of the Carclo, before putting the bezel ring back on. It works perfectly for my needs, but more importantly, the Carclo optic improves the EDC18's beam dramatically. (I hadn't realized just how cloudy the EDC18's stock optic was, especially compared to the Carclo!)

My EDC18 is on me all the time and it’s got all the parts mentioned above from OP. It’s got the Carlo 10507, trit tubes, Neals lens, and the XPL HI 5000K. It’s got great range because of the flat XPL Hi and along with the 10507 makes for quite a thrower and good spill also. I didn’t have any issues with fitment and all the parts when put together actually made it a tight snug fit.
I also rotate the LED once in a while with the Triple Nichia 219C Neutral White 4000K CRI92 from Kaidomain. I’m currently waiting for another Nichia triple I have on order to try out. It’s the Nichia BT 4500K CRI92 that Kaidomain just added to their stock.
cool….I just ordered the short tube in raw aluminum to add to my black EDC18….let´s see how it looks. After that will come the 10507 and lens….= pocket rocket.

It fits. I have a Carclo 10507 and separate lens inside my EDC18 right now.
Big improvement over the stock lens.
