My MF01S has just stopped working. It was working last night no problem but today I tried to use it for a photo and it wont turn on.
I have fully charged batteries 30Q Samsungs they recommend. I actually charged the batteries last night after use at 3.8v according to my charger and didn’t use the light till this morning.
I always mechanical lockout with a twist of the head, when not in use.
The AUX lights work fine and the LEDS give off a quick flash when twisting the power back on.
The switch has a working light but doesn’t turn the light on. No combination of button presses make the light function in any way.
Quite sad as some highly respected names helped getting this flashlight in the works… and was my reason for buying this particular light expecting quality internals.
Great news! Banggood has decided to send me out a replacement head for the flashlight. This truly is a great flashlight so I’m excited to be able to use it again!
It turns out initially my troubles getting in contact with Banggood was because their emails were going into my Spam folder and I didn’t realize they were trying to contact me.
I’d like to assure you that Banggood does have a great support team and had no hassles sending out a replacement once they had verification to their solutions. They also thanked me for bringing this matter to their attention.
So if you are considering the MF01S be sure you will have a quality light, after all it’s basically designed by legends of the BLF community.
Hi guys, I have this mf01s flashlight, today I just didn’t want to turn it on, I teardown it because it smells burned, on the pcb there are 4 burned components, two resistors marked R5 and two capacitors marked C1 as well as the regulator marked LDO. please can tell me the values of these components?
I answer myself. It appears to be a pi RC filter with 4.7 ohm resistors and 10 uF capacitors. I already replaced them and it worked again. Apparently C1 was short.
