WTB: Eagletac D25A or maybe D25C with 219c 4000K.

I have found a few new but, was wondering if anyone has one they want to part with. The aluminum one is just fine by me. No need for the Ti versions really. Unless the price is right. I plan on putting it to work so it won’t be babied. That being said, as long as the light works, condition isn’t that important. It can look used. Fine by me.

If you manage to get the aluminum D25C at a fair price new I’d highly recommend getting it to mod. It is extremely easy to swap emitters and driver, with impressive results.

Thank you. I have never had any Eagletac light. Heard good things about the the A and C. I found they did come with the 219c 4000k but they don’t seem as plentiful as the XML and XPL versions. I really like that emitter. I have put them in quite a few lights around here already. I wasn’t quite sure how easy they were to get into for a swap.

Far as I can tell both the A and C are always close to the $50 mark. Found one place that has two of the Nichia A’s for $52 and some change. I just thought for that kind of money for a AA light, I better not have to open it up. I probably wouldn’t mind it so much if it’s fairly straight forward.

Thanks again.

I recently purchased a D25a with 219c.
It has one of the nicest 219c emitters I’ve seen. It is on the pink side where most 219c emitters I’ve had tend to fall on the green side.

I’m not looking to sell. I thought you might want to know.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Looks like I will end up ordering a new one. Nice to know the emitter is as nice as I was hoping it would be. I am not a fan of a greenish tint. That alone would force me to never use it or give it away.

I have hit a point where I am tired of paying good money for a light only to have to change the emitter. I have enough lights and even more “project” lights than I can possibly use at one time. Everyday I have a bit of anxiety trying to decide which light to carry that day. Not really of course. Do you ever catch yourself looking over a dozen or so EDC lights and trying to make sure they all get treated and used equally? Or is it just me?
