For frozen, the wife and I enjoy Palermo’s thin crust margherita pizza. It has a boatload of diced tomatoes in lieu of sauce, minced basil leaves, and a meh flavored mozzarella. I usually shred some fresh sharp provolone on top, and a couple fresh basil leaf chiffonade half way through, to give it better flavor.

The Digiorno Deep Dish Crispy pan pizza by the a country mile! It’s the only frozen pizza I would even considering eating! The 4 cheese version is freaking awesome, and is easily better than Pizza Hut and other shitty chains.

Never had that one. I usually go for the ultimate pepperoni, which has by far more pepperoni than any frozen pizza brand I have ever seen.

Spicy Clucker looks good, but I haven't seen it available for purchase at the stores I go to.

I used to get their Supreme, which I really liked for a short while.

Just tried this one today. Pretty decent with some pepper flakes sprinkled on top.

Most all our local grocery stores do what I call the “Nightly Thaw”. They bring out the frozen food to the main aisle and let it sit for hours while they nonchalantly place a few package of food in the frezzor now and then. They even throw the boxes of food on the floor in front of the freezers for hours. Consequently all the frozen food is reduced to garbage. Target does not perform this sadistic ritual. So I like their “Archer Farm” brand of pizza.

This is currently my favorite frozen pizza – JACK’S Original Thin Supreme Frozen Pizza. It is so good and when on sale, only $2 each.

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

It was so good that the next time it goes on sale, I'm buying two of them!  ;)

I have many of those and more of the Newman’s Own thin and crispy in my chest freezer for the quarantine .

We have some non-chain NY style pizza places that are pretty good. Not as good a Brooklyn Pizza but better than Domino’s.

We also have a local chain called ‘Ledos Pizza’ The pizza is thin and cut into 2” × 2” squares and its served on a lunch tray.

I like it because its different and they aren’t even trying to imitate real pizza.

when i was a kid i used to deliver pizza in brooklyn, for like 3 years, ate tons of free pizza, never gained a pound, but never touched frozen pizza, even domino’s\pizza hut, tastes nasty compared to properly made pizza, frozen i would not touch if you paid me,

There's no good frozen pizza!

I used to buy exclusively from the local Papa John's but after new ownership it's not the same.

Now it's thin crust Blaze Pizza or Mod Pizza.

Fave pizza wise – hmm well frozen it’s ‘Chicago Town Takeaway Sweet Cola Bbq Stuffed Crust’ I love it (it’s a bit rich though), everyone else hates it lol, which is good news for me!

Oh and that clucker one above does look good!

Not quite frozen, but a chain opened up that’s “Fast Fire D”. A bit skimpy for 9bux a pop (“personal pizza”), but tasty.

Hey, Lightbringer, where in nyc are you? if you get a chance, try pizza wagon, on 5th ave. & 86 st in bay ridge, imo that is what real pizza has to taste like, those guys are in business for over 40 years.

Best frozen pizza I’ve had is a showdown of 3 brands…Freschetta pepperoni, Safeway (or Vons, Albertsons) Signature Pizzas, or DiGorno. I can get the Safeway pizzas for $4 each on sale, sho I can get two at a time.

Queens, not Booklyn, and if anything, I generally head east. LOL

You don’t know what you’re missing. Put it on a stick and into the freezer… pizzasicle!

It’s tasty and refreshing on a hot day!

naa:

In Italy, Dr. Oetker operates under the brand Cameo. The Italian division was founded in Milano in 1933 as Oetker and then later moved to Desenzano del Garda, which continues until today. In 1953, the name is switched to Cammeo, a more Italian and easy-listening word, changed again for the last time in 1984 to Cameo.

Never heard of Dr Œtker pizza… wonder if it’s found here in the states.

Hmmm, pizza mit weißwurst instead of pepperoni sounds intriguing.

Plus one for Jacks with Tombstone a close second; especially when they are on sale.

Enjoy the light show - LedTed
