What to do with old Maglite 3 x C cell torch

I have a handful of old torches, and I am looking for suggestions on mods to bring them up to more current (no pun intended) technology.

The assortment includes the previously mentioned 3 x C, several minimags, and a Surefire 2 x 123 with a crennelated (sp?) bezel.

I don’t care so much about the minimags, but I’d like to do something with the Surefire and the 3 x C cell.

Match's Mods: 15min mini mag mod for the minimags.

For the 3C Mag, LED drop-ins like this work real well:

For the Surefire, Malkoff makes a bunch of drop-ins.

For the AA Mini Mags, Nite Ize makes a decent low cost drop-in.
