I’d like to give away a light to celebrate the BLF 10 hear anniversary.
The Prize
The winner will be able to select one light from group 1 and 1 light from group 2.
Group 1:
YLP Falcon F15, lightly used
good light but zooming is too slow for me
EagleEye X1R with blue body, also lightly used
good light but not for a weight-weenie like me
DQG Tiny 18650 CW, new
I got a wrong version
D10, D20 or D25 headlamp, new
the king of budget headlamps, I like mine and will order a new one for the winner
Emisar D1, heavily used
great light, my EDC for quite some time. I don’t have a replacement…but so be it
Group 2:
Convoy S2+ grey, XM-L2, 6*7135, new
Boruit RJ02, wide angle lens
very nice worklight but I have enough headlamps and can let it go
I can add a few different lenses
Skywolfeye B16, new
I really like this AAA zoomie and will order a new one for the winner if they pick it
Skywolfeye B18, new
AA variant of B16, I have one on the way, expect it to be just as good as B16.
Convoy C8 XM-L2, used
, OK light but I can let it go
2. GAW start
Now
3. GAW end
2 weeks from now
4. Who can enter
Any BLF user who had at least 10 non-GAW posts at the start of this GAW.
5. How to enter
Just express your willingness to enter in this thread
6. Winner selection
1 winner will be picked randomly
7. Temporary rule
I’m still polishing the rules. The winner must agree to the final wording at the time of accepting the prize. If they refuse, another winner will be selected. Actually I’m looking for suggestions on how to make the rules better.
8. Special rule
By accepting a prize the winner promises to:
Create a BLF GAW within 6 months since receiving the prize
That GAW must be open to everyone to whom this one is open. It may be open to other BLFers as well.
The selection rules must give every participant equal chance to win
This Special rule must be one of the rules of this GAW. This means that the winner of this GAW must be obliged to make a GAW themselves and to pass the GAW-making obligation to the next winner.
That’s something different. Not sure about international shipping. Shipping something the size of a flashlight from Germany internationally costs 16 €. Don’t know if I’m willing to pay so much extra for a giveaway. So I’m not in this time.
I may have underestimated shipping costs and therefore haven’t put adequate prizes.
It doesn’t look like I’m on the way to meet my own requirement of 50 participants. I could lower the goal but I don’t think it would be good. So I decided to spice it up somewhat…there are new prizes added. I’ll think about it, there may be more on the way.
And requiring others to make their GAWs expensive is not good either.
Any ideas on how could I lower the shipping costs for others without allowing it to be locked up in some country that has expensive shipping?
