I wasn’t trying to be rude ,I guessed you were a lot younger than that ,its a sort of a compliment I think , especially if I actually know what you look like , lol. There’s nothing wrong with living with your parents ,like you say it’s much cheaper , my brother is 53 & still lives with dad.
Okay, I apologize for calling you rude.
I wasn't sure which way you were going with that question.
My bad.
Actually no one in my family could afford the usual rent around here, so it's very convenient that we own the place.
We're a very frugal family, and I have the most disposable income of the bunch so I buy myself "toys" more frequently than my family buys "toys" for themselves.
I will be doing a video soon on some custom built super micro lanterns, even one that can fit in your wallet, emit the same light or more of a candle 360 degrees , & run for 40+ hours.
I noticed you wrote “lanterns”…with an S.
any chance you would make something like a nitecore LR30 shape? I’m worried that these lanterns based on a flashlight host are too easy to knock over.

Most of the micro & mini lanterns i have built or modified are hanging type, but there are a few that stand on a table. ( but yes, some are of the low-profile style as the LR30, but most of them are modified existing lanterns i bought) some of these literally “tiny” , so once i can get the video done you will see what these are and their purpose.

I didn’t see my name on the list, but I do recall saying interested on one of the very first threads regarding the mini. Please sign me up!
We weren’t taking names in the prior thread as that was just for preliminary discussions. I’ll add you to the list and you’ll see your name on the next interest list update.

What’s a good DIY sleeve for 18650 to 21700? I have lots of laptop pull 18650s. I don’t want to buy other batteries.

Count me in for 3, especially if there’s built-in base of some sort. Maybe an extra ring that screws off the top and onto the bottom somehow?
Thanks to the BLF team for making this happen!
