While you are on the site you can also order a Vapcell S4 Plus charger for $34.99 and not wait for one to ship from China

I have not purchased anything from 18650batterystore. The pics look legitimate. :+1:
Those are my goto batteries, Thank You for sharing this info

I bought 4 x 30Q from 18650batterystore at the normal $4.99 price a few weeks ago when the Molicell P42A 21700 was on sale.

The 30Qs charged to 4.19V and a discharge capacity test showed the cells between 3100mAh and 3200mAh.

I'm using them in triple LED S2+ builds and an S2+ with an SST40.

Maybe the only cell slightly better is the Sony VCT6 for high current needs.

I've purchased from them several times and have yet to be disappointed or have an issue.

Their shipping costs are very reasonable too.My orders get to Texas in 2 days when shipped(USPS Ground).

I've had most orders ship the same day as ordered

Shipping to AUS kills it unfortunately

Does it ship to Philippines

Off topic, can you please explain the difference (beside the capacity) in Samsung 18650 model Q like this one vs E model, like INR18650-35E?

30Q review

35E review

I ordered 4 Sanyo's from the store a few weeks ago and the shipping was the same for me, time-wise. Shipping cost is very fair.

If you order at least 10 pcs, it goes down to $2.75/each.

I also need a charger and the Vapcell S4 Plus mentioned earlier looks decent. Is there any other charger you guys would recommend?

Even with shipping to Canada, if you order 10 pcs, price ends up 30% less than we can get them up here for, so pretty good deal.

Thanks but the reviews are super complicate. I you know them well can you explain in simple terms the difference between Q and E models? And in particular, why I should buy one vs the other?

EDIT: searching a bit by Google, landed on this page The Best 18650 Battery Guide: Everything You Need to Know
which show a summary table of various models. I see the main difference is the Continuous Discharge Rating (CDR), 8A for model E and 15A for model Q.

Not sure what are the other implications in practice (safety, durability, etc.) but I think the lower powered model is more suitable for my modest needs.

I think the quantity discount on the 30Q’s will be short lived, since the LG HG2 are also on sale for $3.99 but there is no additional discount for those when ordering 10 pcs.

30Q = high current 3000mAh
35E = medium current 35000mAh

Neither has protection

I just put an order in for 10 x 30Q($27.50) and a Vapcell S4 Plus charger($34.99)

I know I don't really need another charger but.....

LEDicrous, what flashlights do you have?

I don’t have any beside some crappy lights I got on eBay before I know about this forum. I was advised to buy S2+ with Nichia 219c, 6*7135 driver. Or a Sofirn SP40. Didn’t order anything yet b/c long shipping delay due to Covid-19.

Currently I use my eBay light at medium brightness and the maybe bad 18650 cell that comes with it. I only need light to walk/hike in the evening. So far those eBay lights are enough actually. I am just annoyed by the cold light and the lack of memory mode.

I know low lower would be plentiful enough for me. But I do prefer good CRI or warm temperatures LED and good 18650 cells.

I just placed my first order with this store. I bought ten Samsung 30Qs (to get the volume discount), a Vapcell S4 Plus charger, and a few other items. I did a Google search to see if there was any coupon code and found this one: timmerz10. Using that code knocked 5% off which covered nearly half of my shipping cost.

If you decide to buy an S2+ and you opt for one with 6*7135 or 8*7135 the driver will be soldered to the brass pill making it difficult to remove the driver if you later want to change the driver and LED.

The S2+ with 4*7135 does not have the driver soldered to the pill. There is a brass locking ring that makes it much easier to remove the driver should anything go wrong or a change is desired.

My favorite off the shelf S2+ is with the 5000k SST40 LED but your taste may be for a warmer tint than 5000K with more yellow in it.

The S2+ with an SST40 at this time is only in 6500k and 5000k;nothing warmer?

I own a Sofirn SP40 but IMO the S2+ is a better purchase.

Entering the code timmerz10 worked for me each time I've ordered.to get additional 5% off the entire order.

Sometimes it will show as not valid code but when entered again it works.

I have bought cells from 18650batterystore.com quite a few times, always authentic cells with good prices. No complaints from me…
