it looks the same what I bought from BIC, yeah, 1000-1200mAh with a nice 300mOhm internal resistance

Agreed, I wouldn't recommend these. I don't know if there are any good examples of these out there, but there are a lot of bad ones. I don't know if these are just bad cells overall, or if there are actually people selling fake Ultrafires, but either way, it is way too easy to get bad ones with capacities much lower than marked. The 1200mAh stated above is very similar to what I have experienced with a pair of these.

The user himself was responsible for the exploding cells, he drained the cells too much before recharging. They would still have exploded even if they were Pansonic or Samsung.

And yes, there are lots of fake Ultrafire products.
