I found an interesting family of 3535 LEDs.
They are not top notch but extremely cheap, $9.2 for 100 pcs or $15 for 200 pcs, shipped.
Highlights:
- CRI70 only
- 2700K to 10000K available
- 1A rated power
- efficacy is fair, 125 lm/W at 350 mA for 2700K, 148 lm/W for 5000K
- thermal resistance is good at 2.75 K/W
- XP footprint

With fair efficacy and thermal resistance they are likely to overdrive well.
So…nothing special but definitely doesn’t look bad. And the price is good.
