Sofirn SP40 WITHOUT magnetic tail

I know that many people like the magnetic tail but I am looking for the older version WITHOUT the magnet, do you know if it is still available on some webshops?
If not, maybe you know where can I buy a replacement tail cap without the magnet?

Sofirn’s ebay listing here looks like it may be the older version. I would message them there. It’s $13 less than their Amazon listing than says it has the magnetic tail.

As an aside, the SC31B uses the same non-magnetic tailcap that the SP40 used to use. I’d imagine the SP32A tailcap fits too.
Here’s the SP40 and SC31B side by side. The SP40 tailcap is the same but longer to accommodate the magnet inside.

Yeh, was gonna say a lot of the recent Sofirns (tails’n‘tubes) lego together: SP40, SC31, FC11, etc.

So where can I buy a SC31B tailcap?

Just got answer from Sofirn Official Store on AliExpress and they claim that the magnet can be removed.
Can someone confirm this?

Can confirm, magnet is removable but it is a pain in the butt to get the spring back in. I take it you needed to remove for the same reason, cave surveying?

Thanks, I choose the Panda 3 instead because of the combination of flood and spot optics.
Indeed I wanted to remove the magnet for cave survey
