WTS: Convoy and Astrolux

Hey folks! I could use some funds so I’m cleaning out a few lights that I don’t use. Please fell free to PM for questions or offers - I’d love to move the whole lot and could give a better deal as a package. The pictures show condition - the M2 and L2 are pristine, while the S8 and S41s have some wear.

SOLD ($20) Convoy M2 with XP-L HI 3A and a 4.5A 7135 driver (4 stacked 7135 chips). This is the latest edition with matte anodizing and the smooth reflector for max throw.

($30) Convoy S8 with triple XP-L: there’s one 6500k LED (1C), one 4500k LED (4D), and one 3000k (7A), inspired by some of ToyKeeper’s builds. The overall light tint is a really nice slightly rosy neutral white. Solid copper spacer and 3-mode MTN-17DD driver with Carlco 10508 optic (XP-L mod by Richard at MTNelectronics). There are a few nicks and worn spots in the anodizing, mostly on the head and tail.

($35) Black Convoy L2 with XHP35 HI 4000k and the KD H2-C 1.5A boost driver. I sanded down the edges of the driver to fit the 20mm driver opening on the L2, but it was a little too thick to fit all the way in so it needs either a different driver or a bit more work to make it fit. The throw distance is similar to XP-L HI, but with a wider beam and twice the lumens.

SOLD ($25) Astrolux s41s with 4x Nichia 219b and spare 18650 tube.

I’ll take the m2 and s41 of shipping is included

Anything still available? I’d be interested in the l2 m2 and the s41s

Sorry folks, the M2 and S41S are sold. L2 and S8 still available!

Sending you a pm on the s8. I’ll take it

Is the L2 usable or does it need to be finished for use? How much does the fitment issue affect it’s function? Thanks.

Got my s8. Very heavy in the head…wonder how long i can run it on high before burning my fingers. Thanks Josh. I’ll be in touch

I also got my light, the l2. It’s a really nice host in great shape. Thanks again. I may have damaged the driver, I don’t know though to be honest. I tried seeing about buying a new driver but mtnelectronics was sold out :frowning:
