Pros:

  • Offers guaranteed genuine Solarforce products (lights, accessories, parts)
  • They are shipping internationally now (before only via eBay)
  • You save shipping costs, when you buy more than 1 item (you pay the +2$ shipping costs only once)
  • High quality, well known and good reviewed lights
  • Facebook group support - news updates & sales
  • Entertaining YouTube channel ;-)
  • Promotion of their new Domain: "10-40% discount for Grand opening new website - www.solarforce-sales.com - born today 12-10-2010" They have a new domain now

  • Excellent prices on Solarforce lights

  • Caring owner and manager

  • Fast shipping + registered

  • Good communication
  • 100% satisfaction guarantee

Cons:

  • Improperly secured website infrastructure leading to multiple security vulnerabilities
  • $2 shipping costs
  • Customer database of private information was exposed to the public
  • Some reports of mistaken orders
  • Website is using drop-down boxes for selection, that makes it hard to find items
  • Same low voltage dropins with different emitters (XR-E R2 EZ1000/EZ900) and HERE Jayki.com is down and the information is rather old now
  • Apparently the newer low voltage dropins have less output and a different driver than the old ones (or fluctuation in production?)

Thanks Vectrex! Sticky'd.

I wish they would sell other brands as well. ITC-Shop if you are reading this, please drop us a line!

Bought a holster from the Ebay Store on the 14th/October at 18:00H and arrived today 19th/October at 11:00H. Four and half days! That's lightning fast shipping!

Aloha juhha! How do you like the holster? How is the fit? I have 2 - L2m's and an L2 that could use holsters. Thanks.

I bought it for a, a L2M (black), that had purchased a weak earlier at the ITC-shop. You guy's kept braging about solarforce hosts, that I had to try one...

Haven't tried with the intended light, but it fit's a UltraFire WF-502B. Even with the belt clip.

It's kind of a tight fit, but I think it's been tailored for that. After the Champions League games, I'll post some pictures, and try to see if it fit's other lights.

Edit: I like it a lot. It's hard as a rock, and seems that's built to withstand rough use. Only time will tell...

Thanks juhha. Smile

I just got my second order from ITC. I got a sand-colored L2-i for $8 + $2 shipping and then bought a couple of flat bezels for $2.50 each. I don't know how long 3xAAA batteries will last, but this thing is impressive and a great way for someone to get a P60 host without having to get lithium-ion batteries. $8 for the host and $15 for a 3-mode XP-G drop-in plus $2 shipping = $25 for a really nice light. I don't have the drop-in, just the host, and I guess the drop-in is getting mixed reviews. But $25 isn't that much more than an Ultrafire host.

Anyway, the light showed up in about 10 days (to east coast USA) from when I placed the order and this is December when HKP is supposed to be slow. I had a problem with ITC before when I didn't get a light from them and had to get my money back, but I bought again later via eBay and now directly from them again and they have been just great.

I got 2 L2P hosts and a B6 bezel ring from SF Sales. They took four weeks less a day to arrive here, even though I received a shipping notice the same day that I ordered them. The hosts were packaged in clear plastic retail boxes and the bezel was in bubble wrap. All arrived without damage. Both the L2P bodies had very minor imperfections in the finish even though they are labelled with "Special Edition-HAIII" and even a serial number. The numbers were different. Everything considered I'm happy, and would (probably will) order from them again.

I had a flaky switch on one of the L2Rs I got from them and they warrantied it no problem. Whole new end cap, not just the switch. I have had 3 orders from them all arrived in a decent amount of time and good communication.

I ordered an L2 and paid the $2 for registered mail, but when asking about the tracking number they just said "Your purchase items have been sent to you by First Class Air Mail after two days your payment has made.". I later got it and it was sent as registered, but I wouldn't say "good communication"...

Although, I have to say that the communication was better than at the physical Solarforce store in HK...

My opinion is this place is as good as you can expect from a H.K dealer .

I trust them 100%.. never ever heard anything bad about these guys ..I'm sure someone is unhappy somewhere .. just not me , I searched and searched for something and missed ebay auction after ebay auction and found the same thing on their site for cheaper as a day in and day out price ... :) that impressed me .Nice packaging and relatively fast shipping ...good as it gets from china ...The only place to buy solarforce stuff.

Agreed. I just wish they would be honest about postage and say clearly that you will have to add $2 at least once to the order.

That is annoying.

And those amazingly annoying spiky bezel rings that need to be replaced immediately.

Apart from that, they're usually reasonably quick - or at least as quick as HK Post will allow them to be. Got some nice stuff which isn't AFAIK available anywhere else.

They told me that they could remove the $2 shipping if asked.

That's worth knowing, thanks.

ordered from solarforce-sales on 3/18 and had a tracking # by 3/22. waiting for it to arrive. usps says it left hong kong 3/21 so i would think it would be here by early next week. their communication was quick and they were willing to give discounts for multiple items. i purchased the L2 with the tail stand tailcap and 1 mode xml and then had them add the pouch the next day and and took off a few dollars. total shipped was $39.49.

I received my order from solarforce today but could have had it yesterday but no one was home. 10 days from the time i ordered id say thats pretty quick. Its amazing how bright these XML lights are. overall im happy with my purchase from solarforce-sales.com. they've got great customer service and im sure ill be buying more from them.

Yeah they seem to be good guys to deal with, I've ordered quite a lot from them. There have been a couple of problems, they sent me the wrong colour L2P I didn't mind I only emailed them so they were aware in case they were sending out the wrong one to lots of people - they apologised and refunded 50% of the cost. The other one was a Sklyline 1 that was dedomed in the post, I sent them pictures and they sent me another one.

4-stars for my Solarforce Skyline II order. The order system is very primitive and causes a major hassle when the PayPal billing and shipping countries are different. The PayPal form does not allow for a message to the seller as it usually does. Ugly website, very limited product pictures, poor organization of products. But the prices are the best on the net for Solarforce, customer service is very prompt and honest with its replies, shipping is very fast, and the products are good.

I gave it 4 also. The site is not good but Jo is responsive. It would be nice if (one of) the most respected budget brand (the most IMHO) were more involved with the most respected budget forum. Too bad it can't be a more symbiotic.

I take back what I said-I ordered two hosts and L6 bezel rings and had everything within 2 weeks. Seems Hong Kong Post got fixed. Solarforcesales shipped within the day.
