Because of the pandemic these UVC led bulbs are all over eBay. Are they really in the 200 to 300nm wavelength range or are they bs? Pretty expensive right now. I do have the cfl uvc lights that work great but would switch to led if legit.
Long lasting uvc/b leds are a recent thing, they are expensive and a prime target for scam… Be careful what and who you buy from. Also can take a while to kill stuff with them depending what it is. Uvc causes cancer rapidly.
considering single uvc led costs about 10-15 bucks minimum, (and those are top of uvc bandwidth, less effective part) yea, i’d say close to 100% of those uvc led bulbs sold, are scam.
digikey sells uvc leds in 270nm range less than a watt of power for around 120usd each.

yes ebay and amazon are littered with cheap uv-c claimed lamps.
real uv-c leds are not cheap so when you see a “corn bulb” loaded with hundreds for $15 you know its a scam.
