Greetings from Oaxaca

I've posted in a few places already, so it's probably rude not to introduce myself.  I'm a Canadian living in Oaxaca, and had absolutely no interest in flashlights until a month ago.  Since then I've lost my girlfriend, sold my house, been deported...

Not really.  But my girlfriend does think I'm insane.  I seem to be obsessed mostly with Solarforce stuff:  it's just weird that something can be made this well for peanuts.

At first, I was simply buying a couple of lights for my bike.  Then I happened on these flashaholic communities.  I sneered.  I laughed.  What kind of weirdo gets obsessed with *flashlights*?  Since then I've lost my girlfriend, sold my house, been deported...

Welcome to BLF, Visigoth! Fellow cyclist here. I started with dedicated bike lights (mtbr) and somehow wound up over here. The wife has always suspected I was crazy, flashlights just confirmed it for her.

I am obsessed with lights, bikes, knives, guns and motorbikes. I am losing my interest in guns and motorcycles a little bit but gaining it in bicycles and lights. I have too many of them all!

As someone wrote here for another new member

" Throw your paypal code away, cut your credit card in half and burn it"

Or face the fact that an addiction to reading BLF posts and reviews makes not buying flashlights too darn tough!

I've seriously used more on flashlights since october last year and until now then I had the 3 years before. And I was also buying flashlights then!

It may all be my own fault, but I still blame BLF! LOL Wink

Thanks all.  Nice to be here.  The collection thus far:

- Solarforce L2T, with the famed Manafont Ultrafire 3-mode XM-L

- Balder SE-1 (neutral XM-L)

- Fenix E01 (olive)

Two Solarforces in the mail:

- L2P with a Nailbender custom neutral XM-L

- L2M (the old gunmetal finish), which I'm going to stuff with the Kaidomain 5-mode U2.

And I have a serious multimeter on order:  a UNI-T UT61E

I had a Sunwayman V20A, but I've traded it off for the L2P/Nailbender.  Nice light, but too fragile-looking for my liking. I'm big on bulletproof.
