thats really sad… no customer service because of corona? hell u can sit home doing customer service with a phone. no need to even be at the physical office…

Everything shows that they did ship 2 empty boxes.. now u are supposed to ship them back with tracking that costs a fortune to ship back to china? i dont get how they thinking….

its like a scam, sending empty stuff and then u must send back to even get a refund… thats a joke.. even for paypal Facepalm

You wanna hear another (not so funny) joke? I ordered an EC01 a while back, and the post office admitted that they delivered it to the wrong address. It showed up as a neighboring city, different ZIP code on the tracking info.

And I got the same response as you from PayPal. They insisted that I send back a package that USPS admits that I NEVER RECEIVED before they would give me a refund.

In that case, banggood did eventually send another one, though.

Another few weeks gone by and still no package, still no replies from Banggood.

As Unloco suggested, I sent a private message to banggood. I saw that user hadn’t done much posts in the forum, but DID get a reply – they said to write to cservice@banggood.com which I had already written to.

Emailed that address again. And still no reply.

(ever notice it’s not listed in sequential order? The most recent is in the middle – May 26, 2020 11:58 Handed over to Airlines). Airlines is the name of their scam person. Not an industry that has planes).

Looking on my account page on banggood, there’s a 1 over messages. Clicking to get to my page, it says under messages – No messages received in the past 6 months! Participate in product reviews, comments, QA, or designated events now.

And I don’t see the several messages I sent from within their website to them. Anyone know if I should see those?

So on what grounds did Paypal side against you? Doesn’t at first glance seem they have a leg to stand on to be honest – there must be more to the story.

It is a fact , at least in the few cases I had over the year, that all the missing items had ‘delivery status’ type tracking numbers (I did not pay for) and they only got passed to Paypal when I opened a dispute. These numbers are ONLY held by BG and only released if there is an issue (they want YOU to pay for tracking etc) even though it is kinda already tracked, well when it’s ‘delivered’ they know and you can check it’s delivery status- NOT tracking. it is simply delivered or not.
Every time PP could see I’d not received the said items so paid out. May be worth asking.

Update fellas.. After all I submitted, this was the email response I got from papal on 6/23/20!! That being said, I immediately filed a crime complaint through “The Internet Crime Complaint Center” and forward my case to paypal.. Someone from the Ic3 is eventually suppose to contact me about this case.. Still waiting for PayPal to review the case I submitted.. Tired

PayPal:

BG and PP said the tracking shows as delivered, but nothing showed up. BG said check with your postal carrier. Still waiting.

i’ve contacted them 3 times over a FT03 they’ve had problems shipping. Then they ended up shipping it to a completely wrong address now they insist that I have the package and I am filing a paypal claim. I’ve gotten 4 packages from them before no problem. Just remember to document EVERYTHING I am glad i did.

Well… It took Paypal a month and much of my time.. However, PayPal sent me this email today.. I’m kinda glad they had me file a report with an agency that looks into these types of scams.. I’m sure this case will be on there record for a long time or maybe even forever..

I only had bad experiences with Banggood and Gearbest, practically 20 order items only arrived 3 and I never got a refund of the 17 … I do not recommend anyone to buy on these sites. Aliexpress always served me well. PAYPAL on Ebay and Aliexpress have always worked well, but EBANX has always been bad for me when it comes to refunds with Gearbest.
