[RD tech] RD6006 updated version RD6012 60V/12A NEW power supply released

RD6012 Released

Hello, everyone, how are you recently?

we release the second power supply of RD series, it is RD6012, 60V, 12A, 720W power supply, we redesign the circuit, compared with RD6006(60V,6A,360W), it has higher current output.

because the new product promotion ends now, so the price returned to normal standard

Here is the product link:

RD6012($63.5)/RD6012W($67.5)(some area may have extra shipping fee):

RD series share the same PC software and same APP(APP has been updated to a new version, more functions)

of course they have same functions and same operation ways, so it is still so easy to use

Finally great news RDTECH. I waiting long time for that version. Can you post any waveform diagrams of the power supply if there overshoot or undershoot when you power on or connect electronic load.

hello, thank you for your comment, you can check the third youtube video in this link, it is about 250mV VPP at 6A and about 400mV VPP at 12A

I’ll be buying one after shipping to my country resumes. I only wish it was USB-C for PC connection.

My TestController software supports the RD6006 and can also support RD6012 with a minor change in a definition file (As long as the protocol is the same).
That software do not look like a control panel, but it can control the supply and it can log and process data from the supply, together with a couple of other devices simultaneous.
It will run on Windows, Mac and Linux.

hello, thank you for your support, you know we can do that, but is that necessary bucause if I replace micro usb with typc c, the cost will increase, and for function, no difference, usb-c cables has many functions like supporting PD charging and other things, using such a good port to achieve a single function is wasteful, we just use this port for pc software, so micro-usb is enough and cheap

Hello RDTECH.
Congratulations on the release a new version of the power supply.
I have a question.
You have many different power supplies, but you do not have a powerful electronic load. Do you plan to produce an electronic load similar to the design of the RD60 ?

USB C is the new standard for a couple of years, micro USB is obsolete by now.

Still, nice power supply, wish i had one, but i am frugal.
Thats why i’m on BLF

Do you do samples or discounts?

thank you so much for your suggestion, I will consider and tell our engineer
for discount , now it is very lower, because of first time publish , the price is very lower , it is less 10 usd than normal price
RD6012 will be more than 63 usd ,. now it is only 52 usd
if you like it , you can buy one to pay

thank you so much for your message , you are great , I like that

Does that include the RD6012 with case and psu?
Cant choose that combination on AE.

that price is only RD6012 price , for case and PSU , you need to make order seperately
where are you from ? it depends your country, I can decide to send them together even you make order together or not

RD6012 customer review
I made a case for RD6012, no so big but it can output full power, it can take the place of my DPS3012

As always, super fast shipping and delivery. A reliable seller. I recommend !!

(the shipping speed is not stable now, it may take more time than before)

works with a 24V source at 14 A?. thanks
¿funciona con una fuente 24V a 14 A?.gracias

hello, just make sure the input voltage is between 6-70V DC, the input current of RD6012 has no limit, but it is a buck power supply, if you use 24V input, you can only get 22V max output

RD tech, you’re violating the BLF Rule that states:

I count 25 of your threads already.

On a separate note, I recommend BLFers to not buy RD tech products.
The reason is that I did, once. Then they started spamming me on Aliexpress.
I asked them to stop, they apologized but spam kept coming from them.

I already reduced the post. I already know the rule… don’t need you to remind me
we have good quality products, they have their own chioce , why did they listen what you said ?
and for post on aliexpress, please tell me your order number , I will block all things for you
