For sale is a special caving lamp waterproof to 50 meters from El Speleo.
Comes with a thick headband and a 2x18650 aluminum battery case attached via a cable. Requires unprotected flat tops.
It has four emitters:
2x Cree XP-G3 cw for pure flood
Osram White flat cw for an amazing throw
365nm UV
All emitters are individually addressable with four modes for flood and throw and two for UV. Driver was developed by Dr. Jones.
Very easy to use with thick gloves with a single two-way screw operated UI.
One way hold for flood on/off, short turn for modes. The other way for throw. Double tap to one direction for UV at 50, other direction for UV at 100.
I tested this preproduction sample to maintain a constant 800 lumens in room temperature with some airflow after stepdown with both flood and throw enabled on the highest mode. Flood emitters reach a respectable 100 lumens per watt on high. Temperature control enables higher output underwater and in cool environments.
