Been watching “The Mandalorian”. Always been a Star Wars fan, unfortunately I thought the sequel trilogy was trash. This show really seems to be breathing new life into the franchise. Thank you, Jon Favreau.
100% ! I agree. Out of all the new Star Wars content the ONLY good ones have been “Rogue One” and “The Mandalorian” rest have been a disappointment.
Solo was good too. It brought back the don’t take yourself to seriously, you are supposed to be a fun movie to watch.

if the genders were flipped i might have watched more.
You get some chick screeching at the top of her lungs, flailing around like a crazed octopus at the pair of pix — her baby and ostensibly da baby-daddy — up on the Big Screen…
“Look, Murray! Murray… Murray… look! Lookit the eyes, lookit the haid, lookit the mouf! They twins! How he deny his baby?? They both got the same big haid! Look!”
She “a thousand percent sure!”. Uh-huh.
And the audience is happily cheering her along.
And meanwhile, they’re:
And I’m like, “Uhhhhh, wait… what??”.
Of course, the results are in, and it’s invariably, “Antonio, you are not the father…”.
And then the chick runs backstage and flops around on the floor like a freshly-landed fish.
just like a Soap Opera, i was not familiar with all the characters
and their history. it took a while for me to understand what the show
was all about, so i guess i missed a lot of the plot and therefore missed
some good reasons for me to watch any more episodes.

Stick with it. It gets better.
Both statements are true. Kinda like Avengers: Endgame, where at the funeral, many moviegoers teared up at one point, but some of my friends “scoffed” and couldn’t believe anyone could get that emotional about it…
(Hint: it was something a little girl said, related to an earlier movie..but I wouldn’t start over just for that)
Anyhoo, the series it definitely worth seeing from the beginning.

Just binge re-watched SPACED with Simon Pegg, Jessica Hynes, and Nick Frost.
First heard about this when Simon was speaking at Comic-Con for Shaun of the Dead where he was lamenting the loss of “slow zombie movies” ala George Romero. He showed us a clip or two after the Shaun clips, and I was hooked.
Anyway, I highly recommend you get/own this. You will never regret it

Just started Season 1 of Prodigal Son, it is quite amusing…
WandaVision is also somehow a bit entertaining…
And, some old series, like Sons of Anarchy, Mayans MC and CSI

Oh no! I’ve only seen the first episode and liked it. Does it go downhill from there?

The pacing seems to stay the same. The Later chapters make me feel like they pulled part of a storyline from Warhammer 40K, but none of the action.
“Your Honor” is such a great show. only ep 1 is out yet, but this will be very good.

Still looking for a way to “appropriate” (with en subs) “Tatort: Borowski”.
Caught a few eps on some OTA channel that’s not even listed on a lot of teevee-guides, and was almost instantly hooked.

“Forged in Fire”. Wife loves that one and I just get sucked in. Good stuff.
“covert affairs” re-watching it currently.
Interesting TV show, even though it is a bit too dramatic at times.
