A small, powerful, and safe fat flashlight JAXMAN new model-X2 follower

X2 is issued just days ago. We want it to be a solid, powerful, long endurance and some smart(safe in hot station) flashlight.
It is 118mm long, and will be about 250grams with a 26650 battery. Then I want introduce it by photos.

Firstly of all,is safe. we arrange a vaistor on the MCPCB of the LED. So the temperature information will be detected precisely…

And we made many times test on this:while it is some hard to take a video of this course.

As to other details, it is still the JAXMAN style…

It has a strong magnet. even 250grams weight, it still can stand on a iron. but need the iron item is flat.

Surely we never want choose the cheaper material…

for example, the spring,PCB, are all very low resistance material made.

Then ragular…

We have 2 kinds of propper LED for X2

hi, the “m” in above picture means minute, it means the runtime on that mode.

Considering the battery is hard to ship to many place, We will give every buyer one pcs PLB 50A battery free. The free battery will be availble before June 30. Orders after June 30, there will be no free battery. The free battery need dear friend to make a remark on your order—-BLFer.

Thank you!

This is very nice looking and powerful mini 26650 flashlight. But UI is awful and unpractical at all. Just make another firmware pls of driver. To turn on/off you need to unscrew tailcap :person_facepalming: . For eswitch flashlight this is BIG drawback.

The chart is difficult to understand but I do not think that is the case. The way I interpret it is that tail is unscrewed as lockout (as with many lights) but when tightened the light is not on yet, just the switch led lights (which they call key light).

does it fit 21700 cells?

I guess it’s a 3v driver, I think you should consider a new firmware for it with single click for on/off and keep pressed to rotate modes

Love those heat fins. The light looks good and I know Jaxman makes very good quality products. However, the UI seems pretty bad if I understand it correctly. The standard should be single click of on/off. Please don’t use twist for on/off or long press for on/off.

It’s not loosen tailcap for off. In the second picture you can see that the switch led are lit but the main emitter is off. 0.5S Long press from any mode goes back to “ON READY” which is just the aux switch led.

The UI chart is extremely confusing but I understand that it goes H-M-L with a single click while on and double click to go into turbo in any mode. From ON READY a single click does nothing which is completely absurd! Why can’t you make a single click go into low mode?

I guess that the aux LEDs consume quite a bit of current and they had to specify that it can be turned off.

Meh……boring…189 reads 5 actual comments… say’s it all

A version with an emitter XHP70 would be good.

Manufacturers should not design a new user interface every time when they design a new flashlight. There are many ways to make new flashlights but only a few good user interfaces.

One user interface that is considered by many as very good is the Olight interface for e-switch lights, I would have bought a lot more flashlights if they all had the Olight interface (so I should thank the manufacturers for making bad interfaces, it has saved me a lot of money).

Please Jaxman, consider a better user interface, I suggest to adapt the classic Olight interface for all your e-switch flashlights.

I’ll buy it if it had USB charging and an XHP70.2 emitter. I like that the button stays glowing when the light is off and the cc driver but it’s too throwy for me. Built in charging is also a must for me.

Right. Stupid UIs on otherwise cool flashlights is the most annoying thing I’ve seen since getting into this hobby last year.

Simple E-Swtich UI:

Single click on/off

Hold while on to cycle lmh

Hold from off straight to moonlight

Double click from anywhere to turbo

Triple for strobe I guess since apparently it has to be included…

I’m not sure how this light works, the chart is too goofy to follow.

Hopefully the light isn’t as broken as the engrish used to promote it

Jaxman lights are usually very well built with top of the line componentes and hefty feeling due to the generous amount of material. The assembly of my 4 jaxman lights have been impeccably clean.

hi, it is based on 26650 battery.

Single Li Ion battery driver. As the firmware, we want it as simple as possible.

hi thanks.

we are only want to make some fine light.
in fact we have not big production capacity. we can not deal with a mass production.
to built some lights is part of our life, and intersting.

I think it will not a easy-broken one

hi in fact I hope the UI as simply as possible.
we have no experience in complex program driver design.

thanks.

Which microcontroller do you use in your drivers?
