Illumination Supply

Ordered some parts for my P60 build from Illumination Supply on Sunday night and they arrived on Thursday afternoon.

They are in CA and I am in NYS so this looks like a good supplier for parts for anyone in the US and shipping was only $2.05

Package was padded and each part was also packed in bubble wrap.

Also provided a USPS tracking number.

Same experience here, except I think I ordered Monday morning and had them delivered (Western PA) by Wednesday afternoon. Great service! One of my items (teflon wire) was marked as "backorder" but it came anyway.

Only ordered from them once (SST-50 drop-in). Got the shipment two days after ordering. Good company.

+1

Craig Shih (Csshih) is a great guy and also a member at CPF. I think he created a nice niche in the flashlight parts market, especially offering the AMC7135 chips separately for adding more current to the existing AMC7135 based drivers.

Great company and service. Thumbs up for Ilumminationsupply.com

Great Company. I try to buy from Craig whenever I can. Always fast service, fast shipping and helpful advice!

Agreed. I ordered my Thrunite TI from him and got it a couple of days later.

How do you like the Ti? I can't recall seeing any reviews on it around here. It's the only thing that really interests me on the site.

It’s now one of my favorite lights. I had/have no problem with the ITP A3 but I’ve been using the TI in its place lately just to try it out.
I have the 3lumen/65 lumen version. It’s nice because you only have to twist once. First you encounter low and if you go a little further you get to high so you can have either one come on first depending on how far you twist.
It has nice hnurling and the beam is a little better (more evenly diffused) than the A3 (with XP-E). It still has a spot but the transition to spill is just a little smoother.
I like them both but this is just a little better in that regard.
I only use the TI (and the A3) on a string necklace tucked under my shirt. I don’t carry it all the time but once it’s nighttime I generally put it on under the shirt and just forget about it. I don’t like key chain lights other than the button style plastic lights with rounded edges and lighter weight.
Tailstanding is not something I do and especially with a single AAA light so I greatly prefer the little lug on the end of both the TI and the A3.
For $16 and $2.50 shipping it can’t be beat IMO. I got the blue one just to see what color on a light would look like

I just came upon this thread, thanks guys! :) Usually delivery takes 2-3 days, but it sometimes sits at a USPS facility for no apparent reason. I try to get the packages out ASAP but am delayed - sorry for that!

When you get a shipping notification it means I've packed up the order - it'll be in USPS's hands in the morning.
