Just so everyone knows upfront, they (who ever ‘they’ are…) want you to send the details of your Amazon account to them so they can ‘check’ it and then expect you to pay for it with card, but they will refund by Paypal.

By “details” you mean your public profile, I hope? that is fairly common in the “review world”. paying upfront is, unfortunately, also increasingly common. Paypal refund as well (you should insist that this is a friends/family transfer and not a “services/goods” charge, which could have a charge-back!)

Common or not, it should be made clear here what the expectations are upfront.
It would be different if it were a ‘known’ company, but this is some random person who just joined. They don’t even give a company name, unless it’s lightdoctor of course.
I can’t pay with Paypal from Amazon, so I have no such refund security.
There is NO WAY you can guarantee they will refund your money. That doesn’t mean they won’t though .
