This is a good offer for what look like good torches, i appreciate what Manker have done with the ‘loophole’ Smile
I use moonlight and low modes looooads and while i really want these for the easily adjustable moonlight modes the only reason i haven’t signed up is because low modes on the 13 and 14 are 120 and 180 lumens respectively which is way too high for me as a first mode after moonlight.

Tony (Owner of Manker) just informed me that he had to travel immediately to his hometown (a family member died)

So we need to move the start of ordering to mid next week.

Thanks for your understanding!

AFAIK, Manker doesn’t specify a discharge rate for them. Just that they’re “1100 mAh high-drain”. In my runtime tests (done, but still working to publish them) they seem to perform as well as my Shockli black 1150 mAh 10A/15A (continuous/max) 18350 batteries.

My condolences. Sad Family always comes first. So, Tony should take all the time he needs. I'm sure everyone here will be waiting patiently for his return.

Actually, now that I look at Manker’s website again, I think they’re indicating the battery as being 10-amp rated?

And yes… family first Tony!

Vinh measured these two lights. Keep in mind his throw measurements are about 15% higher but his lumen measurements are spot on.

So Vinh is measuring 600lm.. the best I can get is 639lm to 650lm at turn on cold, even with a FW3 driver stepping up the top of the ramping.. so where do they get 950lms and in his Video he states 1000lms?

I can’t tell you how many times I tested, charged up, retested, fiddled with my lumen tube, etc when testing these two lights. They really highlight the differences that can show up in a non-professional lumen measuring device when looking at pure throwers vs pure flooders. I eventually tweaked my setup enough (getting diffusion just right) to where I’m now more comfortable dealing with these differences.

tl;dr: I feel like Manker’s numbers are a bit on the “optimistic” side. High quality lights overall though. Read more:

Probably better to judge lights like this based on amp draw and throw and derive lumens from that.

Vinh having known 15% too high throw seems absurd cause that is easier to reproduce than lumens? I dont think any tube can do all combinations of mules to throwers reliably.

40.7 mm

As noted in my review, my Shockli black (34.8 mm) fit fine. A little loose, but they work well.
