Pretty sure this is FA3. The FD2 used by Mateminco and Astrolux is noticeably more green but not as bad as the FB4

It is about the same level of rosiness as the FA3 tint in the Fireflies E07 at about the same output. So it is a very neutral tint but not rosy.

Yeah, I have updated it to “rosy(ish)” because of all these comments and because my initial impression of “The “corona” portion is yellowish, so it averages out to about a neutral beam tint.” is probably the most accurate description in my original post.

I can’t measure the duv myself since I don’t have the capability, but based on my comparisons with other lights I have, I am thinking mine drops below the BBL on the highest modes, so, I’m gonna stick with “ish”. I certainly appreciate people with real measurements to show I’m not TOTALLY off, and mine being below the BBL on higher modes isn’t unrealistic.

Thank you for all the real measurements and feedback!

So without any confirmation from Manker we don’t know for sure, but would it be safe to assume these are probably FA3 bin? Considering there hasn’t been much reports of anyone getting a green tinted one?

It’s not about averaging out. The light is right on or under the BBL in most modes (minus 10440 turbo, it drops a bit more there). However, right on or under the BBL is not what some people want when they say ‘rosy’ they want significantly under BBL. There’s no doubt this is one of the best bins of SST-20 we have seen and anyone who isn’t 219b sw45k religion would probably appreciate it.

If you want to split hairs I could probably leave mine running on high for a few minutes and measure all modes “under” BBL.

Yeah, when I say “averaging out” I’m just describing what it looks like to me visually, so probably not the best way to word it. Either way it’s a great tint and I’m very happy with it. I’m glad others are having the same experience.

Much prefer AA battery version so is there a possibility making?

Manker has the E03 II on their site now, but don’t see it yet on Amazon.

Yeah, I ordered it a couple days ago when it showed up. I think I finally shipped yesterday, so I’m guessing I will have it in a couple weeks maybe.

I`m thinking of getting one from their site too, anyone have a coupon code?

It looks like Manker don’t offer coupons:

But the BLF MC13/E14 deal is still available.

Aww, that`s a pity, because on their own Mankerlight website the checkout page has a Coupon window to fill in, naturally I had to ask! Smile

A Manker E02 II arrived in the mail today. It’s a nice little headlamp!

Pro’s:
Moonlight modes with a AAA!
Slightly rosy tint.
UI is easy to use.
Soft beam with the honeycomb optic.
Capable of running on a 10440 cell.

Con’s:
The magnet in the tailcap could be a bit stronger.
The emitter appears to have been rotated by about 15 degrees when looking at it in Moonlight mode with a AAA.
The pocket clip is a little rough around the edges.
The lanyard hole on the tail cap is off center.

I’m impressed. I’m looking forward the the BLF Muscle Combo even more!

I`v had my E02II for some time now and my E03II arrived a week or so ago and they are absolutely superb lights! the E03 is pretty much like a the big sister of the E02II the UI is the same as far as I can tell, the 03 is just brighter but still goes really low into sub lumen levels.
I`v got the original E02 as well and with the SP40 they look like a happy little family Smile

Does the E03H II with a neutral white SST20 emitter look similar to the E02II NW? Slightly rosy tint? Cool

Yes. Slight differences (as expected) but still great tint. Definitely still FA3

Anyone have a Manker “Sand” anodize color?

It’s an option on their E02 II page, along with red, blue, however, no photos offered

I am curious to how it compares to other mfgrs Coyote ano, which is more of a golden tan color

Got a couple lights in my sights, one to keep, and one to gift

Not viewing the E02II on Amazon so ordering direct from Manker

Ask M4X on the other thread for the EDC Muscle Combo? There might be one or two left if not everyone who signed up purchased it.

It’s an awesome little flashlight and the low modes are ridiculously low! Lower than my ZebraLights! I love it!

Didn’t buy the original headband, because I intended to carry it more by hand. But just in case I printed a mount.

Just received mine.  First impressions and after a walk down the road is that it's a great little light.  Love the UI, the moon modes, with an alkaline it has plenty of throw to light my way and workmanship seems nice.  Mine's not quite "rosy", but it's the best sst20 I have.  Very nice.  Might have to get another and it's bigger brother.

Just an update.  Many, many opportunities to use now.  Still a great little light.  I use it clipped on my jacket zipper right above the zipper pull.  Stays put, can rotate it nicely and it lights my way fine for my nightly walks in the unlit park pathways and down the road.  Still impressed with the LED and the UI - fantastic.

Only compliant is the sharp edges on the fins and the lanyard hole.  Finish is already wearing/chipping on those places.  Should be better.

Only improvement (besides the above) is to also make one available with a Red LED like the Sofirn C01S.  For me, it would be even more useful that that one (which I think is great also).

Manker E02II Red NW SN 20201484 arrived today and it’s slightly green. Sad

The tint is slightly rosy on my lights from an earlier batch:

The headband came with it (cost you nothing) or you ordered it as an additional item (at a cost to you)?
