Skilhunt H04 RC - can exposed recharge contacts get shorted out?

Wondering if anyone has any insights on the recharge electronics behind the Skilhunt H04-RC headlamps. Can the magnetic recharge circuit get shorted out? It’s always exposed, so it’s exposed to water or can short across metal that’s left in a backpack.

The ArmyTek headlamps use a similar magnetic contact to recharge, but requires you to rotate the tailcap a quarter turn to make the recharge contacts “make”. When the light is fully screwed on, the exposed magnetic recharge contacts are not actually connected.

Just wondering what the dangers are and if Skilhunts design is flawed?
