back after 8 weeks closed psychatry because of burnout/depression

I had literally no access to internet from a few times my phone for short time

I am back, still half day in ambulant therapy, so don’t expect me getting old stuff cleared out for shipping fast

I’m saddened to hear that you have had to deal with personal issues like that. Depression can be worse than being physically ill. I feel mental health is even more important than physical health, as it takes a good mental condition to be able to deal with physical issues. I noted your absence here and was concerned, but did not know why. It can be difficult to even discuss at times. Take care; all my best wishes to you.

Often the pursuit of perfection and stress lead to depression.
My advice is restart in small steps from the simple things.
Also walking in nature help a lot mind and body

Well said. +1

Love, respect, and best wishes from across the pond.

PS. Writing a diary changed my life when I was at my worst about a year or so ago.. I struggl(ed) with OCD, depression, and bipolar disorder. This combination really could put me in a spiral at any moment. Work stress, and losing my father had me at the edge for many months. Writing my thoughts down really helped give my inner voice ‘pull’ and allowed me to self regulate so much better. I don’t know if any of this helps, but I hope you find your way out of this soon!

I too wish you all the best and as much of a recovery as one can hope for from these things.
Try to take good care of yourself. When it comes down to it, that is the only person you absolutely need in order to survive.

Welcome back, Lexel!

I take psych meds for depression and anxiety, and they work great for me.

(I believe that getting on the right meds for an individual is crucial.)

Don’t know how it feels myself, so I can’t give any advice. Best wishes for a good recovery, people in my surroundings have had success with therapy.

Welcome back Lexel. I was wondering why I havent seen you posting especially on driver related topics.

Btw, Ive taken ashwagandha and lemon balm when I had bouts of anxiety and depression or simply for stress. They’re very effective and no rebound effect. Some say they work better than their prescription medicine.
