Love the light, Nice heavy copper, but the brightness is not there. The FW3A has lower lumens and is brighter. Also, another negative of the S43S is the quad LED creates a real distorted beam. The tri led of the FW3A blends and you can’t make out the edges of the led spill. I have three S43S’s and they all behave the same way. Nice light but it seems to need some engineering improvements.
The brightness is not there because it is very inefficient. Maukka measured 63 lm/watt.
It is junk, I gave mine away.
