Gearbest being trash and not paying commission! Beware Don't join!

Hey lads i hope all is well.

So as the tittle reads Gearbest is doing the dirty and not paying the commission that is owed to me by them.

Any one else in the same boat? I check out there Facebook page and i am not the only one.

Sure its not a lot of money but they are a multi million dollar company and can afford payments. I have not shopped with them since they didn’t give me my prize from the BLF self built contest a few years back.

hm, i withdrew 60$ from them couple of weeks ago, still didnt get

company got really cheap since 2019

lots of managers changed, they were way user friendlier before

i i bought a lot from them until ordered phone for wife, parcel never arrived and it took me like 3 weeks to make them send new one

I hope that they pay you. I have emailed them about 6 times asking what is going on and no one cares they are just buying time.

date was 19.09 , payment still on hold, for approval, info says i should get money before 12 nomember

My date is the 15th of July and it said getting paid in September and still nothing.

Its a bad system using in house commission system as they can keep the money to easily with no recourse.

The first years after I joined BLF, I witnessed quite a lot of GB bashing. A bit to my surprise because I always felt if they were thinking with me, and not thinking against me.
Well, that feeling has changed the last couple of years. It almost looks if every person you contact at GB is operating his/her own shop (within the GB organisation). As if they have to pay for refunds, et cetera, out of their own salary. And there is a lot going on: items that are “out of stock”, presents that are not really presents, GAW’s and prizes not send to winners. If you order something, chances are they regret it is not available at the moment, and then they offer you something they know you won’t accept. Under normal circumstances a post on BLF is enough you activate any CS that’s also on BLF. But it seems that for them BLF is a thing of the past since they were “last seen” here some 3½ months ago.
So I am very sorry for you about what has happened to you, but I am not surprised (alas).
They focus on “there is one born every minute”, but time will tell that everything has an ending.

I had a problem with them too, I didn’t receive the product and the website says it was delivered …. I sent an email for a refund and they didn’t answer me anymore, that was 2 months ago … I made the purchase through EBANX thinking that I was protected and would have a refund if I had problems just like paypal … but EBANX said it can’t be refunded … I never buy from GEARBEST again and I never use EBANX again …

i completely agree with one comment above

untill like 2019, GB was nice company with good deals and user- and reviewer- friendly policy

but then something broke inside company, managers started to change every couple of months

they stopped sending thing for review, but just asked to post deals which had fake discount.

so, finally, i got 60USD to withdraw, did it, and it was written it would take a month to transfer this crazy amount of money to my paypal (was done witwithin week in goode olde times)

so, i send several email, still got neither money, nor replies

would never ever mess with this company.

it was great to work with them in 2015-18,

untill, i suppose, they hired some smartass who ruined everything

manager, with whom i worked, also complained that rules inside companies got worse

For so many reasons, I haven’t ordered anything from GearWorst in 2 years. They simply aren’t worth all the monumental hassles when things go wrong, which was quite often. There is nothing they offer that cant be purchased elsewhere at a competitive price, so why even bother? Vote with your money and spend it elsewhere.

I don’t know why anyone would shop there. Their prices and shipping charges are ridiculously high and the CS people I’ve dealt with are absolutely clueless. The last one couldn’t find my order (while I was looking at it on my monitor), and wanted me to provide a list of order and Paypal tranaction numbers including the exact time I placed the order!!. I screamed and after a few minutes he/she found the order. Once I asked why a listing showed shipping as $19 and on checkout showed shipping as $49 and when they would return to normal shipping methods. The answer after 10 minutes was: Yes sir, the shipping is $19.

I thought maybe they were kind enough to give jobs to the mentally handicapped but actually I believe it is possible that to save costs they’ve outsourced CS to a BPO who’s employees know nothing about GB products or system. Great management decision!!!.

company was made a a sort of everbuying.com daughter company, then last one died and GB sinks and suck for the same reasons
