Need new batteries please help! Want to purchase in the Philippines only need dealers here.

I need to find a 21700 protected cell with 5000mah and more than 15a I also need a 26650 that has minimum 5000mah and minimum of 30a. I have tried to find them especially the 26650 min is starting to lose mah and the skin is bubbling. It’s just hard to find legit batteries here in the Philippines. Please help me.

Have a look here: Massive post on where to get lithium-ion batteries everywhere in the world! Look at Post 2-5 for info, And Canada Post 123

I really dont want to order out of the country because I have trouble getting items through the mail. It takes a month or more to get a notification that it is in then I have to pay a fee at the post office for anything coming in and my nearest post office is a long ways away 3.4km away and it cost a lot to travel there. So I prefer to use lazada or shopee to get the batteries.

I can’t help you, but you should add, “in the Philippines” to your title so people can help you find local sources.

Thank you i will do it now.

You’re welcome, I hope you get some good advice. :+1:

Even in “normal” times it’s tough to get anything in the Philippines. When I read comments from you guys in developed countries complaining about slow shipping times I just chuckle. Phlpost is so ridiculously incompetent you wouldn’t believe it. You can do what Viper576 describes, (in 95° heat or torrential rains or both in some of the worst traffic in the world) to get your package or wait 2 months for them to move it 800ki like me in the provinces. (If they don’t lose it). You guys have it made.

Viper576, I’ve never seen a 30A CDR 26650 battery but I’ve been buying Liitokala 5000mah batteries on Shopee at a very good price, (I forget right now). I do believe they are legit and according to reviews are good to about 15A CDR. I believe the seller is Powercentral or just search. I’ve been been buying Molicel P42A 21700 batts and others from fmlights also on Shopee. They may have protected 21700s Their prices are a little high but batts are legit and service is great. There are a few flashlight shops selling on shopee Hope this helps.

A couple of years ago it was virtually impossible to buy genuine batteries here. The country was flooded with fake HG2 batteries with many unscrupulous sellers insisting they were “legit”. (Right! a HG2 that only charges to 1300mah?). We were forced to try to find the best fake batteries available.

Also, Banggood won’t ship batteries to PH. but with everything else they partner with a courier company that delivers to your door which is like a F.ing miracle! Best to bypass Phlpost if you can.

Klarus said their 21700 is a lir 21700 so that’s what I need. I remember that time with the fakes I got hooked into buying 4 of them. Now I got 2 real ones because the others died in just over a year. I think the 26650 needs to be 35a the 21700 factory battery is a lir 5000mah 15a i would like higher amp on both batteries. To give you an idea how bad the mail is here my cousin mailed a package to me priority mail from the USA and it took 2 months for me to get it in Manila and i had to go pay an import tax or some kind of fee. The only mail service that charges you to get your package it happens every time no matter what it is.

Member d_t_a is also from Philippines, maybe he can help you knowing what is available there!

If you haven’t already you should probably immediately stop using the battery with the “bubbling skin”.

I would also suggest doing some research to see what range of amp draw you really need as 35A is a huge amount. My most powerful single cell light, Mateminco MT07 mini, XP L Hi) draws around 10A-12a on turbo (guessing as I can’t find the specs). Also I think you should be aware that there is almost always a significant difference between the manufacture’s claimed output, (usually what’s on the wrap/label) and the actual performance of the battery.

There are several good battery review sites that give accurate data, I especially like Mooch’s reviews and the reviews on BLF.

Based on my tailcap current measurement, the Astrolux MF01-Mini Cu+Al variant with 7x XPL-Hi (Mateminco MT07) was able to consume around 20 Amps (possibly higher, but my test setup may not be that reliable with higher currents).

Using a Samsung 40T or Molicell P42A would give good power to the MT07 / MF01-Mini (30T could be brighter at the start, but only at the start…)

Yes, thank you. I use molicel p42A batteries in all my 21700 lights.
