Power Bank with LCD - Power Drain

Just a quick check. What is a typical power drain of a 3 digit LCD found on some power banks? Is it something to worry about? Would it be much more than typical LED indicators found on most power banks?

I have recently bought this power bank: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08J3Y9H2V (mainly due to larger size than typical 10K power banks and PD compatibility). Unfortunately the LCD stays always on while charging. It does go off when the power bank is not in use though. So I was wondering to what extent this could affect power consumption and how much juice it actually drains from the battery? Many thanks.

Think about an LCD watch with a backlight and how long it can keep that on with a button cell. It’s a negligible amount of power unless they did something so wrong that the power drain from the LCD backlight will be the least of your worries.

But I just checked what you linked to and that’s a purely LED display. Those draw more power, but still a pretty unimportant ratio.

Great. Thanks a lot. Didn’t expect it would be a major issue but I thought I’d check. Good analogy to an LCD watch – didn’t think about that to be honest. Cheers.
