Today we are once more reminded of our mortality. Sir Sean Connery has passed away in his sleep at the age of 90. He wasn’t feeling well lately, but at that age …. Many of us will remember him as THE best James Bond ever. Personally I thought he also did a good job playing Dr. Henry Jones sr.
He will be missed.

Great actor, he had an incredible voice and his “accent” was unique!

Enjoyed many of his films since childhood days... RIP James Bond. 
He was a great actor… but his misogynistic stance towards women was a real fault. The comment about slapping women. He’d first made it in the late 60’s. Later, Barbara Walters gave him a chance to correct that in the late 90’s… and he didn’t. Doubled-down. Some years later he finally apologized, but it seemed to be more of an “OK, let me tell them what they want to hear.”

I decided to watch all the originals from the beginning in 4K on my projector. He was truly one of the greats.

The only light i have installed in my apartment are 1 floor lamp in my living room and the lamp on my computer table, and the computer table light are a pretty new add-on, and the floor lamp are only used if i work on something on the living room table which double as a work bench.
Other than that my entryway have a sealing light i almost never use.
My toilet have a sealing light too with 2 short CCFL tubes, and as between it and the kitchen for some reason there is a opaque glass about 1.5 x 3 foot, then i use the toilet light to navigate the kitchen and if i need more light i use the under cupboard light in the sink side or the light in the vent above the stove.
There is also sealing light in the kitchen but i think i have used it 3 times in the years i have been here.
In my bedroom i have never had a light, and the only furniture in there are my bed and around 15 moving boxes i have never unpacked but do dive into now and then ( lived here for 10 years now )
The light in my fridge blew about 7 years ago, i have not replaced it.
Thanks, it’s still true since I first added that as my signature way back when. Maybe it’s justification for all the money I spent on flashlights over the years, but mostly it’s fun to use my flashlights rather than turning on lights in each room when I’m moving around the house at night.
That and I get to use them all over time. Else when would I need to realistically use them all? Not like I’m searching in caves or have a lack of electricity where I live.
Yep me too. I’ve found that the light from my new Noctigon 2000K is so much more soft and pleasant than any of the light bulbs in my house. I use it on my desk when I’m working, at night if I’m on the couch reading a book or listening to music, and even on the table in candle mode during dinner. I have four 18350’s and have to swap them out 3 or 4x a day but it takes like 2 seconds. I could probably calculate the $ per day but it’s gotta be super low if I even care about that
Unlike everyone I know (except everyone here) I can’t wait for it to get dark outside. I feel like a vampire haha. I went to the the trash out and decided to rock my Imalent MS18. Obviously not a very refined light but man the raw power is awesome
I have used my Q8 bouncing off the sealing a few times, the LED lights i have in my floor light are pretty measly at least for when i work on stuff, so then the Q8 come in handy.
The 9W LED in my computer table light take care of that area, but i have also just upgraded to a LED keyboard ( roccat vulcan )
