Kinda cool that green EC03 was only available with SST40’s so I can keep looking for multiple XHP50.2 light. Maybe FT02S will be the one.

That prototype looks nice. I would probably add some details in that SS bezel because they are flashlights crown. Nothing too much so beam wont get weird shadows/shapes and nothing too “tactical” spikes.
For color I wish something like Astrolux A02 green which seems to be more matt vs. other greens like MF01 Mini or FT03-series or EC01/03.

Original FT02 has been using flat bezel design since day one. As for color options, it really depends on demand. Most probably we would see 1-3 colors max (excluding alternate materials).

There’s no replacement for displacement.
Checked FT02 out and now I see. That will probably look nice in SS so more shiny metal when checking into business end, but not so much when checking sides.

I’ll take three of these, if one can be modded to 4 x SBT90.2.
Two of them for me when I’m in my normal mode, and the first one so I can just be me.
Because I like big lights, my flashlightical views lean heavily toward both the extreme bright and the extreme heft.
What’s better than 3 sst40 or xhp50.2? 4 of course! Wonder what price this will be? Probably huge amp draw on the xhp50.2 version!

The astrolux ft02 was a nice light but it was just paper weight. The light had a very parasitic drain that would kill a fully charged 21700 in about 2 weeks. They should make the head a bit bigger now that it’s a quad emitter.
