UPDATE: I just emailed Ric about the group by and he had this to say:

"In fact we only have very low profit to sell T70.

Im afraid we can not offer too big discount for a group buy, Maybe group buy price---78+17usd shipping cost =95usd"

I need the driver as well, mine stopped working. Supposedly the factory only re-opens on 8th Feb.

Not sure how many orders you need to be $82 shipped though. $82 is for 5pcs wholesale price, ie shipping to 1 destination. But as shown in the DRY GB, you can do it if there are enough orders. Maybe 50 x T70, at least. :) The DRY GB was crazy though.... > 100 units I think! (equivalent to the biggest ones from Dinodirect)

I tried to order 5 of them to check shipping and they increased accordingly so it's not that much cheaper to ship to one location only.

I had a good communication via E-mal with Ric, it might be the chineese new year break, but I am not getting answers about it for a long time.

Hopefully it will be solved after 8th February, but I am not ordering anything else till it is solved, as I told about it from day one.

Let's see if the UF-T70 price is attractive enough, as it is a really tempting light.

I would like to get one also, but please help me out here.

If I have one concern about flashlights, it's the dangers of lithium batteries when more than one is used. Is there a "safer" way now, so I don't have to worry about multiple batteries exploding?? If I don't have this concern, I'm definitely in.

All you need is a voltmeter to ensure that all 3 cells are within 0.1-0.2V of each other. 2100 will be able to tell you more as he's the expert around here.

We're already working on the next group buy from the same vendor after one just barely finished and we haven't even seen a review yet! haha

Looks nice though. However, I would first like to wait on a review and see it stacked up against the competition.

But this is what I'm talking about! YEAH! More side-by-side lights.

Seems most people want a review before buying. The group buy might not get off the ground then :(

And it seems the T70 uses a similar switch to the Maelstrom S12. Hmmm
