I just noticed that the Mateminco MT04 is now available in quad SST20. No specs that I can find.

Bonum commune communitatis.

Yarp.

5500mAh ones from Vapcell were also great – gone as well. For some reason ~5500mAh 26650 cells disappeared from the market.

It pulls about 15A with XHP.50 (which falls off a cliff right after startup). 3500lm rating is quite conservative, with good cells people are getting over 4500lm. High mode (max ramping mode) is around 2000lm. None of them are sustained – after about 5 minutes output stabilizes at around 600 lumens.

I think 26650 has taken second fiddle to 21700. I was hoping to get at least 1000 sustained after step down. Think that is doable if I start at a lower max ramp to prevent initial heat of turbo?

I don’t think so, when both turbo (~4500lm) and high (~2000lm) stabilize at about 600lm it looks like that’s how it is by design and therefore it should apply to all modes above 600lm.

OK thanks. I will play with the thermal settings when it arrives and hope for better. It seems to have enough mass for better than 600.

I couldn’t wait and ordered it from Mateminco (AE Store). Will it be the same in the package next to the lamp as it is with Astrolux?

From the summer, customs rules will change in my country (maybe all over the EU). I have to buy until then and I will have birthday in a month anyway. Party

Looks like Banggood is taking a much longer than usual time to respond to my Astrolux EA01 (SST40) with “bluish-purple beam on Turbo mode” problem… No response, other than an automated ‘customer service’ template response, since I reported the issue to them 3 days ago…

I know this is late, but In my experience messenger with customer service is fantastic help through BG. They have helped me numerous times through the messenger function. Both before and after sale.

Is there supposed to be a set ship date on these I didn’t catch. The listing says in stock, ships in 24 hours. Are group sales items different? Mine has been processing for 3 days.

It should be from the same stockpile in CN wharehouse. Please give them 2-3 working days to process your order, even though it is stated "ship in 24hrs".

You might have to contact BG directly if you wish to listen their explanation for the delay.

I want the mt04 or more specifically the ea04, but with sst20 I would rather have my D4sV2.. the sst40 is what I’m looking forward to in the mt04/Ea04

According to manufacturer, the MT04 SST20 quad should do 4000 lumens, 650m throw.

Mine shipped yesterday, blue - XHP50.2 5700K.

Also have a grey SST-40 5000K on the way, Mateminco MT01 from Ali. It's arrived in the US yesterday.
