Any Canadians have experience ordering from Thrunite’s official website? I’m hankering for the Catapult V6 in green which is (of course) not available via Amazon.ca. Trying to ascertain what carrier they use and where the lights ship from so as not to get any surprises from the tax man come delivery time.
i was just about to say the CW version was on sale for $81 recently, but then i saw “green”. cant help u there brother
It’s been a fair while since I’ve ordered from them directly, but I’ve never had problems ordering directly. Only reason I buy them from Amazon now is that they arrive faster that way.
The dark green definitely looks worth it
I’m glad I’m not the only flashlight collector out there, I was beginning to think I was strange.
My name is Kendall and I’m a Flashaholic from western Canada
I ordered from them a few years ago. No issues. I prefer Amazon due to speed. Just look for sales as the pricing is not always great.
Thanks all. I took the plunge and placed the order. I’ll update this thread when I get it. They had a 20% promo going on so I managed to snag the green Catapult V6 in NW for $64 USD (which should be right around $85 as long as there’s no additional fees for the privilege of being Canadian.)
When i ordered mine they used amazon.ca to drop ship it to me.

Well I said I’d come back and update this tread when I received the light. To keep it short, Thrunite wasn’t able to fill my order for the dark green Catapult. Despite their website listing it as in-stock and accepting my order, I received a message the following day advising that my order couldn’t be filled. Bummer.
I eventually caved and ordered the black Catapult which arrived in just 2 days via BNI Shipping, so it would seem that they do ship from Canada via Amazon warehouses as AguassissiM mentioned. No extra fees/taxes owed.
