I was looking at the Convoy S12 flashlight with LH351D. I have no experience with this LED and I've never owned a triple like this. I'm used to the SST-20 at 2700K and the 219C at 4000K in 18650 lights. The former is great indoors and very nice outdoors in the summer. As Autumn got more brown though, I had to switch for outdoor use. The latter seems very versatile and not too far off from the color of natural moonlight.
So how is the LH351D at 2700K? Any fans here swear by it?
How about 3500K? I don't know that I've ever used a light at that color temperature. Comments, opinions, and long expressive essays would be appreciated.
The 3500K from Convoy has a better color bin (U6) than the 2700K (WA), meaning it will be less green/yellow tinted, so personally I’d go with the former.

both of those LEDs have similar “green” tint (above the BBL), so I dont think you will be shocked by the similarly green tint of the LH351d
and since you are considering identical or similar color temperatures, I dont think there is anything particularly different about the Color Temperatures either.
out of the three brands, the SST-20 has the most Red output, R9 CRI
what the LH351d does better, is more total lumens, and a wider hotspot. But in a triple, the hotspots are blended and diffused into a large wide beam anyway, so I see no merit to an LH351d in a triple, as far as hotspot size
bottom line, only you can decide which ones are fun for you. so any question about which one, is best answered with, both! lol
if choosing only one
I would not pick 2700k, because it is not practical during the day
whereas 3500k is a cult classic, among some of the cognoscenti
I think that is beause it is slightly whiter than incandescent, so can work during the day, for those who are willing to compromise… on a one Color does all type of option
I like having a lot of different color temps so I would recommend the 3500K since it seems like you don’t have that one. I have that with a triple Nichia 219B. I have the LH351D with a shaved triple 5000K (SPHWHTL3DA0GF4RTS6) and a single 4000K and like them a lot, although the 4000k is a little greenish when compared to others.
I have a couple of the 3500k LH351D emitters from Convoy and can say they are wonderful. Very pleasant light, and this is coming from a 4000k SST-20 to 3500k 219B fan. I wonder what the R9 of this bin is?
