Advice on buying a green emitter flashlight! (mini thrower)

Hi all

Hope you are well!

I’ve been doing a bit of research on what I see as the 4 main pocket throwers which I have narrowed down to:

E10 / KR1 / MC13/ L17

I am after a green emitter and I know that the KR1 comes in W1 which I’ve read can be replaced with a w2 if you ask Hank nicely

I have no real purpose for the flashlight, I only get to go mountain climbing once in a while and I would like it to act a bit like a laser to pointer/light saber to see something out in the distance (W1) I am guessing?

In terms of size I think the biggest out of them all is the L17 in terms of dimension?

I know the E10 is the TIR lens, is this the same for the L17 and MC13?

I have a d4v2, d4sv2 and Kr1 all in cool white so I am kind of leaning towards the KR1 from an Anduril prespective

I also read somewhere I think on reddit that someone purchased a KR1 green W1 and then they reflashed it to Anduril 2 and that somehow made it brighter/give more throw? that can’t be right surely?

I think the W1 would be more of a “lightsaber” but the W2 will be more usable. I’m actually waiting on a KR1 with the W2 and a K1 with the W1 so I can’t wait to see the difference. I’d lean towards one of those just because I love anduril.

My take on all the options.
E10 - Probably the hardest to hold onto.
MC13 - Probably a little easier to hold onto and you have the option of the 18650 if you want to
L17 - Most likely going to be the easiest to hold due to it’s more “tactical” styling and the rear grip thing (can’t remember what it’s called)
KR1 - Anduril!

It will most lilkely be a KR1 for me but not sure if I should go for the W1 green or W2 green?

Does the KR1 green w1 have more candela compared to the W2 therefore should have more throw?

Does anyone know if I can get the lightsaber effect with the KR1 green w2?

Can’t decide between the w1 or w2?!! and there are no youtube videos or anything to see the difference!!
