New to all this tapping and blinking to change setting and finding it quite confusing.
I have a H17F driver and want to change the 4 main brightness settings.
Someone pointed out a guide here but its a little confusing.
Its a long read but if someone has done it before then i have a couple of questions.
So what i gather is i need to do 8 very rapid taps to enter the configuration menu then a blinking signal will be shown.
Then 3 taps to set brightness.
it says : The light will ramp the brightness up and down twice in 24 visually linear steps: From #2 (moonlight) to #22 (100%) the output doubles every 2 steps, #1 (firefly) is even lower, #23 if half-turbo and #24 is full tubo. Tap once when the desired brightness is reached to change the selected mode to this brightness.
So i gather it will automatically ramp the brightness and you tap once to select the brightness. But i want to change the brightness for all 4 main brightness leves so do i need to tap once 4 times at the different outputs i want as it is doing its automatic ramping thing.
Sorry but its just so confusing the way they have worded this.
And then 12 taps to exit configuration made ?
Any help would be appreciated but i may end up leaving it as it is so i dont screw up the flashlight and take forever trying to put it right again.
