Here it is!
I would love to be interested.. but i’m Not there yet. I cant do it, sadly.
Great looking light / specs, Freeme!!Interested if it’s very close to $200. Will pay more if the performance is better than expected.
Edit: Can’t confirm if I’ll buy it yet. Waiting for the M1X to get back in stock, then I’ll decide based on the price.
Doesn’t this look a bit like the prototype I saw of the updated Jetbeam M1X WP-RX? Do you have any info such as the UI and head width?
Not sure if it's okay to go a little offtopic, but I'd like to learn more about the updated M1X WP RX... where did you see that info?
The Eneloop 2005-2021 info thread
Neal sent me a pic about 4 months ago. He said they were switching to a rotary UI and it was delayed due to a bad batch of lenses. Emailed Jetbeam on 25 Nov and they said they’re being assembled.

Interested, UI is a bit… on the undesirable side But willing to overlook it if performance is good and price is close to $200.
UI might not be a problem with a rotary ring. Optimistically watching how this goes (vs Acebeam W30/ Weltool W4). I’ve been looking at getting an LEP at some point, might be this if it performs well.
Im more interested in the wp1. Any prelim specs for this?
Throw Distance: 1000m / 0.621mi
@1theDeals
Is there also a tail switch or is it just rotary?
There is. Please refer to OP.

Impressive specs, but I would need a few beamshots before considering seriously.
It would be good to know overall emission spectrum/available colors/CCT (+CRI, but I know, I should not expect low tint shift within the beam).
(Anyway, probably not interested above 220$, but as always, the cheaper, the better)
I only replied to the WP1 thread.
I am interested in this too, but would only be buying one or the other. Just not sure which yet. Really depends on final price and exact specs overall.
I was tempted by this:

The WP2 seems to beat it spec wise, but I’d hope the price is still in the regular Astrolux level = i.e. meaning it is great vfm vs other offerings.

I think I would bite the bullet on this one if the price was $200 or less. How much is the WP1 going for? Maybe make a bundle deal?
if it is the emitter that affects such a high price of laser flashlights, I do not understand such a big difference in price due to the size of the body, maybe I would have bought if the price was only slightly higher than the WP1
interested
LEP’s uses from what I understand a blue laser diode and that doesn’t change as the “lumen” output seems consistent across all LEP flashlight variants. So with that being said it would be the makeup of the phosphor surface construction and optics etc that would make up the rest of the price of the product.
Sample pics are in. Preparing.

hey freeme, would you be able to confirm with BG that this can be shipped to canada and get past the customs? i have heard that canada does not allow LEPs
I don’t know about all that, Also a fellow Canadian here and I’ve had LEP’s delivered without issue.
really! cuz i read that someone tried to order one, and it got rejected by the customs. do you remember if yours was marked as lep or just a regular flashlight?
They probably have no idea what an LEP is, but marking it with class 3B laser or similar might have thrown red flags
Aluminium or SS bezel?
Also, a bit off topic but I just realised Banggood now allows you to pay via Klarna.
