Has anybody removed the if25a bezel? Does it just unscrew or is it glued? I normally do pretty well by hand but this one is rather stubborn. More importantly, does anybody know if there are other bezels out there that would fit? I would LOVE a lightly scalloped SS bezel, though really any common material (al/ti/ss) would be fine. Just looking for something that will leave a little gap when turned upside down as I like to keep it on the night stand bezel down (to avoid dust, etc on the lens) but the stock setup really seals the light in pretty well making it possible (though unlikely) to leave the light on unintentionally.
Of my two IF25 (same body) the 1st was glued but not the second one, both needed quite a bit of torque, I used hose pliers with rubber bands.
Mine came right off. Tried using a different optic from a d4v2 on it. Same diameter ,wrong peg location. The 4k looks nice !
