Nice how it zooms in / out. That will surely appeal to many. Hopefully there will be a civilian version too.
Just a guess but I dont think people who spend $2.5k on a lep want a 1500 lumen zoomie…

I wonder what the 1,500 lumens refers to (zoomed out or zoomed in). The conventional LEP lights are all zoomed out measuring 500 lumens. Zoomed out always measure much lower.
It isn’t a “white laser”, the beam isn’t even a laser and for good reason, as it would be useless as a flashlight otherwise.
Way to expensive. I hope their w40 is closer to $500

It barley cracks the 4km throw range & costs that much? As far as throw goes there are LEDs getting close to 4km. What happened to the 6km range hype? Something about a chinsy fan on such a security light just can’t be taken serious imo. Those things are loud & would give ones position away at times.
The zooming in & out looks good, no donut beam etc.
It’s more than I would spend, but I like how the technology is evolving. Someone will undoubtedly come up with something superior soon for less $$$. Meanwhile I’ll stick with my W30 and W10 GEN2
