If you have a Fenix light that there’s a diffuser available for you should really get one, they’re awesome. Makes for a perfect bedside light.
How well does it work with a 1600lm TK11? 
I found my Fenix diffuser on a Q8 to be very glary, even on low. A plastic bowel lid upside down added to the top made a nice lamp shade.
