JetBeam Mini One - Dead

I got this flashlight for Christmas and it’s dead. The Mini One worked great for a month and now it just died. It doesn’t charge, won’t turn on, it’s just dead. I’ve tried all the things to get it to work. My question is I want to replace it because it’s a cool flashlight, but if this is a common problem then maybe I’ll look for an alternative. I bought this through Banggood and we’ll see if replace it.

I take it it was DOA? If you may keep it, please open the light and check battery voltage.

I suggest you file a paypal dispute
also email the contact email given in a paypal dispute application

Do NOT ask CS for a replacement. Do NOT try to resolve the issue via Bangood CS (CustomerService). That will open you up to a huge can of worms. You would be asked to post a youtube video. be prepared to do so. I know it makes no sense, its just what CS scrips require.

It goes on from there… I guarantee you will find it frustrating.

You can bypass normal CS scripts by using the paypal dispute route, and the email given in Paypal. A totally different team responds to disputes. They are highly motivated to solve the issue promptly, IF you make a simple request for refund, NOT exchange replacement.

vendors dont like paypal disputes and will quickly refund to reduce the negative reputation they gain on paypal.

Once you get your refund, feel free to buy the light again, if so inclined. Just separate the refund from you future purchase. Do NOT ask for a replacement, that will only prolong your pain and frustration.

No it was not DOA, it worked for about a month just fine. I charged it, used it and everything. Now it just stopped working. There was no damage, nothing that would account for it to stop working.

let us know what you learn when you follow my suggestion to file a dispute

bear in mind that even if paypal says you are too late
you will still be able to ask the seller for a refund.
