I received for the review the SPERAS TH1K Hunting Kit directly from SPERAS which I thank. SPERAS TH1 is a high performance adjustable focus torch ideal for professional hunters, search and rescue or other outdoor lighting requirements.
SPERAS, founded in Shenzhen, is a high-tech company that produces premium portable lighting equipment to ensure customers receive the best lights on the market at an affordable price. The SPERAS professional flashlights are suitable for many applications such as military, police, law enforcement and rescuers, but also hunters, outdoor enthusiasts etc. and meet ANSI standards for waterproofing and impact resistance.
SPERAS TH1 is a high performance, compact size adjustable focus LED flashlight that reaches, with its beam, the maximum distance of 963 meters with the 50 mm optical lens. The new innovative silent tail switch allows the user to effectively use the TH1 in a hunting environment. SPERAS TH1 is powered by a 18650 lithium battery (included in the package), has a memory mode function and very fast mode switching capability. It has 3 normal and 1 special (SOS) light levels. In the “KIT” package sent to me by SPERAS we also find the new remote pressure switch (RM03) that allows you to dim the brightness using the switch (dimmable). SPERAS TH1 is IPX-6 certified (protected against strong jets of water) and has an impact resistance of 1.5 meters.

Inside the case we find, in particular, two other LED modules (Green and Red) in addition to the white one with which the TH1 is equipped, and the new remote pressure switch (RM03) which allows the TH1 to be remotely controlled.

The RM03 remote pressure switch is very useful and well done.
The adjustable mount for rifle or rifle scope.
In the rich package we also find a two-seat battery charger despite the fact that the supplied battery, a Li-ion 18650 from 3400 Mah, is rechargeable via a micro-USB port.
When the battery is being recharged, we are warned by a led (red in recharge) located in the upper part of the battery near the positive contact. At the end of charging the color turns green. It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the battery.
In the "Hunting Kit" case as mentioned above, we find 2 other LED modules, GREEN and RED.
In the SPERAS TH1 the modules are interchangeable in a very simple way, by unscrewing the head and the LED module, turning counterclockwise and then inserting the desired LED module and tightening by turning clockwise. As you can see from the photo, the positive of the battery is not in direct contact with the LED module but this happens through a base placed in the upper part of the tube.
It is reported that with regard to colors, a green light was one of the first in the spectrum to be used for night vision. Helps preserve night vision while still allowing for some lighting. Hunters and fishermen prefer green light because it is less likely to scare fish or game. It also doesn't attract insects like white light can. Green is often used in military operations because, unless seen directly, it is difficult to detect with the human eye. Green is also useful in smoky environments because it doesn't "wash out" the field of view the way white light does.
Red light is preferred by some for night vision because it often provides more contrast. Red light is popular in military operations because it is difficult to detect from a distance. This color is also often preferred by photographers and those who use night vision telescopes. Red is suitable for environments full of smoke or particulate matter to prevent the refractory from washing away. Red can be useful in night hunting applications. However, it makes it difficult to distinguish red lines or marks on maps and charts.

Speras TH1 is a well built torch with good finishes, thicknesses and clearly legible writings. The flashlight has compact dimensions (from 146mm to 155mm in length), holds well in the hand and does not weigh excessively (228gr without the battery). It is built in aluminum alloy with an anodized finish, well made, in a glossy black color. The SPERAS TH1 consists of 4 parts: head, LED module, body and tail.
On the head of the SPERAS TH1 we find an aspherical lens with, in this case, the OSRAM White LED in the center. The maximum power of this LED mounted on the TH1 is 364 lumens with a considerable maximum distance reached by the focused beam which is 963 meters with over 232.000cd. On the bezel it is possible to mount a red or green filter (optional).
On the SPERAS TH1 the focus is easily adjustable to go from flood beam to focused beam. This is possible by rotating the body counterclockwise until it stops. Then do the opposite operation to return to the open beam (flood).
The central body of the SPERAS TH1 has a beautiful design, as well as the tail cap which is easily unscrewed.
The threads on the torch body are not anodized and the O-rings placed one at the head and the other at the tail, guarantee the TH1 IPX-6 certification (protection against strong jets of water).
On the tail cap we find the electronic metal switch that offers a nice feeling as well as being silent.
With this button we will manage the levels available on the TH1. The U-shape of the tail of the SPERAS TH1 helps prevent accidental activation of the switch and allows the torch to be placed upright (candle-shaped). There are also two holes for inserting the lanyard supplied with the flashlight.

The SPEARS TH1 USER INTERFACE (UI) is very simple. The TH1 has only one switch.
With the flashlight we have 3 brightness levels (HIGH, MEDIUM and LOW) and 1 special mode (SOS).
The powers in lumens are variable and depend on the type of beam, Flood or Spot and the type of LED chosen.
Note: The above data was measured in accordance with the international ANSI/NEMA FL1 torch test standard using a SPERAS 18650 3400MAH battery (model: S34) under laboratory conditions.
Beam and Runtime:
The radius of the SPERAS TH1 is impressive even when changing LEDs the shot is always remarkable. The beam is typical of this type of aspherical lens torches, with concentric rings in the radius near the crown when we are in flood mode while the spot is very concentrated and takes the square shape of the LED. Definitely a remarkable product when used for hunting or research.
The Runtimes were done indoors with an ambient temperature of about 20 ° C using the battery supplied with the flashlight, a fully charged 3400 mAh SPERAS 18650.
I would like to clarify that the values expressed by the graphs must be taken, above all, as a reference because they are made with means and environmental conditions different from those used in the laboratory.
The first tests were made in HIGH and MEDIUM mode by mounting the OSRAM White LED on the TH1 and using the flashlight with the focused beam (spot). As can be seen from the graphs, of the candle value is widely achieved as well as the declared working times.
Other tests have been made by mounting the Green LED (CREE Green) and the Red LED (OSRAM Red) always keeping the SPERAS TH1 in a focused way.

CONCLUSIONS:
Coming to the conclusions I have to say that I liked the SPERAS TH1 particularly in this Hunting Kit package.
The TH1 is well built with good materials and rounded parts, excellent hand holding and metal key in the tail. SPERAS TH1 is already included with a rechargeable battery and is compatible with other 18650 batteries, both button top and flat.
The TH1 impressed me well on the distance it can reach by illuminating the chosen lens well and this is valid even if we replace the LED module with another one, green or red, present in the rich and beautiful case with which this version is sold.
Definitely not a flashlight to illuminate while shooting around the house, considering the type of beam it generates, concentrated and with very little peripheral light providing adjustable illumination and a focusable beam. SPERAS TH1 has compact dimensions which allows it to easily be mounted on most 1 inch or 30 mm scopes making it perfect lighting for hunting. In the past I remember the Dereelight torches (which I am lucky to have) famous for this type of optics. I conclude by mentioning the excellent Hunting Kit package with which I received the torch complete with the excellent RM03 remote pressure switch with which the dimming can be adjusted allowing full control of the light setting.
