Hey, new to the site and I’m a novice at high powered flashlights… I recently bought a lumintop fw1a. While i was waiting for my unprotected 18650 battery to charge, i got bored and put 2 olight rcr123a batteries in it to see if they would work and i think they fried the light. It no longer turns on with any battery. Any advice on what i could do to fix it?
You’ll have to replace the driver, or at least replace some components on the driver.
Are you skilled with soldering?
I’ve soldered before, not an expert, but I can get it done. Any tutorial links would be appreciated. Thanks
