I received this light with a tail cap issue.The spring/switch unit was cross threaded when it was screwed down into the tail cap an broke . I cannot get it to back out of the cap housing. So i pretty much need a whole new tail cap assembly.
CN QUALITY GOODS wants me to pay to send the whole light back .Will not pay for shipping, will not send me a new tail cap assembly.
TANK007 sends me to CN QUALITY GOODS. Will not honor any warranty claim.
Any ideas for a fix ?
I am done withe CN thay have sent me two lights now that are dead. And Ric wants me to foot the bill for their mistake.

Thanks for the help. TANK007 is now saying that they do not sell to CNQUALITY GOODS and that the light is counterfit.

As for warranty service, we usually provide warranty service to our distributors instead of our final consumers and it is almost impossible for a factory to give warranty service to every one of our final user, which I believe you understand well. We regulated that all distributors should provide satisfactory warranty service(what we already provide to them) to their customers.
Unfortunately, we have never sold TANK007 flashlights to the company CNQUALITY where you bought your light. That is why we believe that you had better contact them yourself. lack of responsibility from CQG and also tank007(but 90% of CQG) for a tailcap that is also so cheap
The so much complained DD ship the whole light or give a partial refund to buy 3 tailcaps when there are such troubles, challenging others to say that is false!
btw maybe you can try to fix it by yourself should not be impossible
I find it hard to understand why Ric wouldn't honor this light and either credit or replace it for you. Many moons ago I bought a light from him (Yezl) that arrived with cosmetic damage to the knurling and I received full credit for the light. He was super great to deal with.
I am not about to make any excuses for the way he is dealing with your issue but he is definitely in the wrong unless he personally tested the light and it was good when he sent it and he is saying you cross threaded it. BTW, I highly doubt that is the case. Ric needs to step up on this one.
is not that the point, you pay for a working flashlight and they must give you that on your hands or they will keep with that bullsh1t QC where more or less no china sellers is excluded
