Hi all. I recently ordered a light from hi-etech seller on ebay. Its shipping out of brooklyn new york to me in oregon. I ordered it on the 6th and the usps tracking still says electronic shipping info recieved. Which means the seller notified usps to expect a package for shipment. Any one else having problems with this ebay seller? Or with usps priority mail tracking? Thanks so much.
You purchased it on the 6th, today is the 9th. Also, you have confirmation that the seller has started the shipping process! I am a newbie, but IMO, that is not even close to a problem. Some sellers only ship one day a week, not common for a seller to start the shipping process a couple days later. I have sold and purchased items, where the USPS tracking only states what you have above, and the next thing I know, the package is here.
Again, IMO, what you have stated is not even close to a problem. You should feel better now... :)
I've ordered 2 small 18650 lights from that guy for gifts. One arrived in a few days, the 2nd one took about 4 days longer. Two other friends on another forum ordered from the guy. One was faulty and he replaced it. So, other than slow shipping, I cant complain.
Don’t depend on USPS for tracking either. I have had packages arrive at my door and they still showed electronic shipping info received on their website. USPS does not always update the information.
From all the way across the country from an ebay seller? In the words of the ebay motto, please be patient.

I have purchased several times from this seller. Their customer service is awesome. They have responded to me very quickly with answers.
Has the OP came back and explained his misconception of this seller? After all, the OP did say he had a problem, and it seemed like all the responses the OP got back, explained that he didn't have a problem. Most likley by now, the OP sees that, and has either got his item or a response. I would be MANLY if the OP comes back and states this, instead of putting the bad word on a vendor and the let it hang.
IMO, sellers are just as important as buyers and just as buyers we want to be respected and treated fairly, vendor and sellers also want the same.
Hope my message doesn't fall on deaf ears.
BTW, I have HAD NO dealings what so ever with that vendor either.. I am just a proponent of FAIRNESS!!
I've never had a problem with that vender. He had a Ultrafire C8 that I was looking for and ordered one!!Should be here by friday.

Im pretty sure they also sell as campingsurvivals and yallstore on eBay.
I]m not sure if they use Tmart as their drop shipper or what. I just received another order from them today and it again had a Tmart flyer in the package.

Yes, I can confirm that campingsurvivals and hi-etech on ebay are tmart as I've ordered from both of these eBay sellers. Both times have had no problems.
i ordered from Hi-etech on Nov 20 and received shipping confirmation on Nov 21, It is now Nov 29, and nothing. The only reason I ordered from them was because they were the nearest to my location, Im on Ontario, Canada and they are in New Jersey, It is only a 6 hour car ride to travel. I contacted them and now they are telling me it could be 3-5 weeks before I receive my item. How can this be, I am thinking that the item I ordered was not shipped from New Jersey Because it should not take this long, What Im thinking is it was shipped from Hong Kong or china because the 3-5 week time is what Hong Kong or China sellers give you/. I paid extra because it was closer, but now I am thinkling I was deceaved.
sorry… it doesn’t work that way… i ordered from them nov 12th and got them on nov 15th.
placed another order on 19th and didn’t get them until nov 28th and i’m in NYC
their warehouse in NJ new brunswick is only 30 miles from my house
but it’s not their fault… it’s the USPS, they usually shipped within 2 days after you place the order
Ordered a Small Sun ZY-T13 from hi-etech (postage $5), posted on 26 December with tracking number……still no sign of it as of 4 February. I emailed asking what the average post time to Australia was (3-5 weeks), and why the tracking number didn’t work (it is merely a ‘confirmation’ number), and they suggested waiting a bit longer, and asking neighbours if they have received my parcel by mistake. Meanwhile 2 DX parcels with free post took 2 weeks to arrive……hopefully one day soon that postal van with the flaming rockets on the side illustrating hi-etech’s ‘fast shipping’ will scorch up the driveway with my torch……
I have about 5 orders from this seller. Shipping allways fast never had a problem.
i may be wrong, but i think that is tmart. i had an item take i think over a week to maine from their NJ warehouse.
Yes its T mart or some one who is selling for them. Every order I have from hi-etech has had a T mart flyer in it.
Pulsar I just lit the zy t13 (during halftime lol) with the xm-l2 u2 from IS and I love it! Thought it would look blue-ish like some u2 but not at all
Well, I knew that would hurry them up. Arrived late this afternoon, just waiting for the sun to set. Happy days….
I have brought stuff (same items) from both hi-etech and YallStock December 2012. In both cases, the items were shipped very fast. YallStock had item location on eBay listed as California but both hi-etech and YallStock shipped from the same town in New Jersey.
The items were battery boxes (for 2 AA battery) with switch. The ones from YallStock and the ones from hi-etech are identical.
I am happy with both of them - well, the stuff could be cheaper… Both were a bit more than the same thing from China but I didn’t want to wait that long. The price delta is not a service issue. Higher price is to be expected since the warehouse cost in NJ is a bit higher China.
So overall, I got my items reasonably fast, the transaction is without surprises, and the items are as described. I will buy from either of them again.
